This is the place! My family is from Indiana, but we're introduced to Bucket Heads by my son. My Dad and brother are big breakfast guys will drive from Indiana to Western Hills, OH every month or so for their Sunday morning 'Bucket Heads Breakfast.' Bucket Heads is very clean and has a great set up. They have large screen tv's hung side-by-side all around the establishment. You will never miss a game of any sport at Bucket Heads. The staff is polite and have a sense of humor if your that type of person, but they are genuinely friendly and good hearted. I've only eaten breakfast there, so I cannot comment about the lunch or dinner. There are plenty of selections for breakfast and it all sounds so good, but watch what you wish for because the portions are huge! Our family has tried a variety of the breakfast selections and no one has ever complained. The goetta is outstanding: perfect flavor, cooked to perfection, and large portion! My brother is like a human garbage disposal and he's been known to ask for a to go box. Their prices are very reasonable, especially when you compare your portion size and how good the food is. Bucket Heads is kid friendly with high chairs. They have tables, booth seats as well as seats at the bar. This is a handicap accessible establishment and has plenty of parking for everyone. Next on my "Bucket" list is dinner! Bon appetit (the picture I shared does not do this place justice, it's 1 I have that shows a little more...
Read moreBucketheads used to be a spot I enjoyed — good atmosphere, familiar faces, and my little brother works in the kitchen, so I felt comfortable there. But after what I saw tonight, I can’t stay silent.
There was a man at the bar who was clearly very intoxicated — nodding in and out for over an hour. The bar was mostly filled with regulars, and shockingly, no one, including the bartender, checked on him. It was disturbing to see someone in that condition completely ignored.
What really pushed me over the edge was when a regular — someone who is there almost every night — threw a wet paper towel at the man’s face to wake him up. Not only is that degrading, it’s downright inhumane. I called it out immediately. The guy tried to leave, clearly not in a state to drive, so I paid my bill and made sure he got home safe myself. That should have been the bar staff’s responsibility, not mine.
I returned to Bucketheads and expressed my disgust to the bartender and the man who threw the towel. But the lack of accountability and care was already loud and clear.
If this is how patrons in need are treated — with apathy and disrespect — then I want no part of...
Read moreI have been a patron of Bucketheads for over 10 years to watch a game or grab a quick bite to eat with my kids. 2 times in a row the bartender, Ellie, has been extremely rude to myself or others. There were 4 of us (2 couples) who stopped in for a glass of wine/cocktail after dinner. We were there less than an hour. We were sitting at a table (not the bar), and had not spoken to or engaged with the bartender behind the bar. Our server was very sweet. We were served drinks and immediately upon receiving them and the bill together, lights were turned on and we were told they were closed and time to leave. The bartender began LOUDLY making rude comments to us, and about us to the other staff, at which point I asked for the owners name and hers as well. She didn't seem to care and let me know he wouldn't as well. I called the owner, Tom, the next morning to let him know about the way his closing bartender treats his paying customers, as I have now witnessed this twice. Tom didn't seem to care in the least. Clearly the staff and owner alike think rude behavior to customers is acceptable. I will not...
