We ordered cheese sticks and they gave us garlic sticks. We ordered one large pepperoni pizza with double pepperoni and they gave us the wrong pizza twice. We waited for two hours for our pizza, I ended up going home hungry, because I couldn't eat the pizza they gave us (tons of extra cheese). The manager came over first argued that we got what we ordered, then he looked at it..and said oh.. that is a lot of cheese.. they gave you the wrong pizza. He offered to have them remake the pizza a third time, but I told him I was tired of waiting. He never said sorry.
Our waitress would drop food off then be gone for 15 to 20 minutes. But after they messed up the second pizza..she stepped up and tried to make it right. She was the only one who apoligized. She said there was only one guy in the back and he couldn't keep up.
It was not busy and we had to wait for everything. The manager did comp our meal, but instead of inviting us back, he seemed really pissed off and walked off when I was mid sentence. Worst customer service experience I have ever had.
I love pizza huts pizzas. But I don't know if I will ever go back to this location. Service was slow.. one of the other waitresses says the mistake on the first pizza.. garlic crust ( I can not eat that much garlic) was her fault. She stood past the far side of the booth talking to me. I told her I could not hear her.. I have a hearing loss and I told her this. The music was louder then her voice. I asked her to come closer and she grimanced..continued talking, without coming closer or raising her voice.. finally stepped up to the far side of the booth for her last two words.
I did not like her attitude, she was more concerned that I would not be upset at our waitress..then she was at making us the wrong pizza. She acted like we could have eaten that pizza.
I never raised my voice, I left our waitress a good too, because for the last 1/3 of our visit she stepped up and tried to make it right. She told her manager that they had messed everything in our order up..which they did.
A sincere apology from the manager would have gone a long way.. instead his attitude made me feel like them messing up my food was somehow my fault. Him coming out and lecturing me on how much cheese should be on my pizza, when this is a pizza I used to get twice a week for years.. was rude. When he realized I was correct and they had put additional cheese over the pepperoni too (more then just extra cheese)..instead of saying he was wrong in his statement. He just said "oh..this is a lot of pizza..they gave you the wrong pizza". No sorry for you getting the wrong pizza a second time. No sorry for treating you like you are stupid and like I don't know how much cheese normally comes on their pizzas. I felt he was irked at having to come over and having to talk to me. Not good customer service. I have been a store manager. He gave a good example of how to lose customers, Instead of turning it into something positive, with his words and attitude..
All I wanted was a large pan pizza with double pepperoni. I asked the waitress to make sure the pepperoni would be on top and crispy. She said yes, ok course. I know that is how the pizza is supposed to be, every pizza hut I have been at..in multiple states has said that. I did not order extra cheese, I can not handle extra cheese. This was so much cheese my daughter, who likes extra cheese couldn't finish the second piece.. because it was too much for her. Pick up a slice and get a pool of cheese from the slices on both sides.. enough that you could cover, with extra cheese, another slice of pizza. So much cheese.. that my double pepperoni looked like a single topping.. actually less, since most of the pepperoni was covered or buried in cheese..
I was not happy. And really not happy with the attitudes. The only person who really seemed to care that they kept screwing up was...
Ā Ā Ā Read moreI'm giving two stars out of the five, that was because of the guy behind the counter who was very courteous and friendly. I would have given him one star if it wasn't for him.
This is a dine-in restaurant. THEY HAVE NO WAITRESSES... THEY HAVE NO SERVERS WHATSOEVER.. THEY HAVE APPARENTLY NO BUSBOYS..
Everything is completely shut down for the most part. The waitresses Island, the far left side of the store if you're inside facing noblestown road is completely overridden by overstock on beverages and boxes.
While we were dining in there we heard multiple conflicts with employees, someone stating that you're fired. Multiple conflicts with a one register. Constant in and outs of foreign people that can't speak a word of English having a phone for translation...
The atmosphere was fine up until all the chaos began. Which was basically people coming in and out I guess for GrubHub pickup or doordash whatever they call it nowadays.
Whatever happened to someone taking their family into a restaurant sitting down and enjoying a meal. Having somebody wait on you for once and of course depending on the service would depend on the gratuity...
NOW TO THE FOOD
The cheese sticks were very overpriced For what Little portion was given. However they were not burnt and my kids enjoyed them.
The pizza, both pizzas were cooked very dark. I do not like burnt food, my family does not like burnt food.
The beverages four bottled pops, cost almost $10 that is just completely absurd..
Look I know times are changing and things are expensive but for the $54 we spent there today was definitely not worth the trip
I'VE BEEN WAITING TO COME HERE FOR A LONG TIME AND I WAS VERY DISAPPOINTED
I will say this, There was a nice gentleman that was in there sitting down eating pizza when we got there and we sat down after we placed our order. He got up from his meal, and said let me get you some plates and napkins. I said no thank you that's okay we can get it, when are food comes. He took the liberty to get up from his dinner and go do it. Very nice gentleman only to find out that he works there. So I think because of that I'm going to raise it one star. I decided that he deserves all the stars that I give on this review. I wish it would be more but unfortunately with the food and the cost of what we got was very...
Ā Ā Ā Read moreWhile the Pizza Hut on Foster Avenue makes decent pizza for which Pizza Hut is known, you're gonna wait for it.
The Pizza Hut itself is easily accessed, and is fairly clean and well kept. It's always a toss up as to how busy they will be. I've been there when the parking lot is full and the place is hopping, and I've been there when it's deserted and you can hear crickets. Usually it depends on of there's a Pirates, Steelers, or Pens game going on.
On thing that is consistent is the wait. I've never gone to this Pizza Hut and had my pizza ready when promised. Never. Sometimes it's just a few minutes late, which I can understand if it gets busy. But this last time my pizzas (two large, one cheese and one pepperoni) were 20+ minutes later than promised. No explanation, no apology other than a half hearted 'sorry' from the girl manning the register. I could understand if they were backed up by the dining room or a lot of orders from online, but there was no one in the dining room. Literally nobody (the pictures associated with this post are from my most recent visit). And unless the monitor was lying, there were only two other online/phone orders besides mine...not exactly a run on the place.
The pizza is fine if you like Pizza Hut pizza to begin with, but again you're gonna wait for it. We may start going to the one in...
