Mike's Wings & Seafood — Restaurant in Greenacres

Hot wings are almost a passion of mine. I've eaten them in many places across the world and yesterday I was pleasantly surprised when I discovered Mike's Seafood and Wings on my way home from work. I caught a big blue neon sign that said "WINGS" out of the corner of my eye and decided to give the place a try. Turned out to be the best decision I made that day. I ordered six mango habaneros and six sweet and sours. They didn't come out instantly which is a good thing, means they were being cooked fresh. Before long Mike brings them out to me piping hot with a side of fries. These wings were enormous. Not filled full of steroids enormous, but healthy chicken enormous. Bones didn't splinter either. The sauces were full of flavor but not overwhelming. The crowning point for me though was that the sauces weren't just poured over the wings on the way out the door like most places, Mike took the time to actually cook in and glaze the sauces into the wings. Probably only took a minute or two to do this but it made all the difference in the world. As far as I'm concerned these are among the best American style wings I've ever tasted. They are actually among the best wings of any style I've ever tried. I'm no expert but I've eaten a hell of a lot of wings over my years and these ones I had last night were simply outstanding. Top ranks in my book.

The little restaurant itself was quite nice. Loads of character and it was easy to see that many of the people coming in and out were loyal regulars and now Im one too.

Do yourself a favor. Get over there and place an order. It's priced very reasonably and I believe the Seafood is just as good if not better than the wings. I'll be reviewing and posting that before long. Sounds...

PlAced my order at 630.. get a text saying my food will be delivered by 7:27... Uber eats calls me at 7:24 to tell me that they are there for the food and it still wasn't done and they didn't even drop the food yet . And called to ask if I still wanted it ? That's pathetic on the business end. I appreciate the lady waiting for them to cook the wings . I'll see what the food looks like when it gets here . Smh ...

The food was good but I had ordered mushrooms with my wings for my wife who is pregnant due in 2 days and that's all she has been craving . After almost 2 hours the order comes and is missing the mushrooms . I contact the restaurant, and they try to tell me they can't issue me a refund and the next time I come In I will have a credit . What??? I ordered something with money and you didn't give me what I ordered and you aren't giving me my money back ? Oh and they said they knew they were out of mushrooms and couldn't bother to pick up the phone . Terrible response . Finally they figure out how to do it and I get the refund on the mushrooms . Oh . Don't forget they charge a 7 dollar delivery fee. (I live.5 miles away) That goes to the company . And ask for a tip, which goes to the company not the person delivering as they use a delivery company and not their own staff... what a rip off..

The wings are good I'll give them that much . But the experience was terrible and long .. get your act together...

I came here for the first time because I loved wings. My usual go-to spot is 40 Flavor Wings on Lakeworth Rd. However, I saw that Mike's was literally 5 minutes away from my house, so I decided to give them a try. The first thing I saw as I walked into the restaurant was that it was messy and not very presentable. The girl at the register was rude and did not greet customers with a smile. I specifically asked for no salt on my fries. I ordered 20 wings, which I had to get all buffalo because they don't split flavors, which I thought was dumb. So I decided to go with the buffalo sauce and blue cheese, but she told me they didn't have blue cheese, so I went with ranch. I got to the house, and the fries had salt. The wings were nice and big, however, very salty as well. I felt like calling and returning my order, but I was home and it was raining, so I made the decision to just not give them any more business and take the extra 10 minutes and buy from 40 Flavored...
