I visited this salon for the first time yesterday. It was the worse service I have ever received. First of all, the place felt dark and dreary; no music, no life. The guy gave me a pedicure. I had to ask for sanitary pedicure tools. The girl brought them to him and it appeared she was upset because I asked for them. He proceeded to open them in my face as if in to say, see here you go, your sanitized items. He didn’t say it out of his mouth, but his actions showed he didn’t like me requesting them. He then started my pedicure. No solution in the water, just plain water. Before pushing my cuticles back, he didn’t even put cuticle softener around my cuticles; he just shoved them back. I said wait a minute, you are suppose to put softener around my cuticles before you push them back; he didn’t understand what I said so I just let it go. Then he proceeded to scrub my feet. He was scrubbing my feet with the scrubber and plain water. I said you are not putting any solution on my feet before you scrub them. He said something I could not understand but got the solution/ cream and then proceeded to quickly scrub my feet. Then he grabbed a bottle that has dish detergent in it and scrubbed my toes; yes, literally dish detergent. After drying my feet he clipped my toenails down and proceeded to polish my toes. I said wait a minute, you clipped my toes but you did not file them in a shape. He totally forgot to file them. The old lady came over and I told her what was going on. She then got another lady to take his place. She was friendly. She shaped and polished my toes. I have passed this salon on several occasions and I rarely see any customers in there. Now I know why; only a few may return after they receive service. Well, I did leave the man and the lady a tip but I will never ever go there again. They don’t have the latest products, feels very dreary and I am not sure if the know how to do the latest...
Read moreI occasionally go to this nail salon but haven't due to an incident a few years back when a worker yelled at me. I have been going lately, and my last visit was 1/8/22. My appointment was at 3:30pm, I went in to get a gel pedicure and nexgen on my fingers. The pedicure went great, however the gentleman who was supposed to do my nails was very unprofessional and rude. Prior to him doing my hands, I told him I need my nails really short due to being a nurse and a musician. He told me he understands and said he could do it for me. So he's doing my nails and I told him if he can cut the tip a little shorter (mind you, I know nail techs can do short nails because I've had it done before perfectly). After I told him to cut the tips a little shorter, he gets upset and states he will not do my nails. He said that I complain too much and that he is lazy, he doesn't do all of that (cutting nails short). He got up and went to the back and kept saying he will not do my nails. Mind you, this is in front of everyone. Not only was I humiliated, but I was disgusted by his lack of professionalism. The manager offered to do my nails, but she had two other people to do. I ended up telling him he was very unprofessional, paying for my pedicure, and leaving. Mind you, I still had the tips on my nails. He didn't at least take them off. I ended up going to a nail salon called Color Nails on Lake Worth, one I used to go to, and they did my nails PERFECTLY. No issues. No humiliation. I would never tell anyone to go to lucky nails because any time you try to tell them how you want your nails done, its like you're being difficult. Both my mother and I used to go there, however she will be returning, nor will I. What should have been a two hour max appointment, ended up taking five hours to do. Save...
Read moreI work 65+ hours a week, and only get 1 full day off every two weeks. I had an appointment today at 4pm. I made my appointment at that time so I would be done right before my valentine's day dinner. I arrived at my appointment at 3:40 and the door was locked. A man inside waved me off multiple times motioning that they were closed. Which my appointment and the hours on the door clearly contridicted. I mouthed that I had an appointment, and waited a while behind a locked door for the owner to come to the door and tell me the girl I made my appointment with went home early 'sorry'.
I am completely aware that life happens and things come up that may require you to leave work early, but it was now almost 4 on a sunday. NO other nail salon was going to take me this last minute and close to closing.
If there is one thing i hate it is having my time wasted. AT LEAST could've called me earlier so I could've possibly found a different place. I will never go there again, they lost a once...
