Been living in Greendale since I was a child never came to the pub decided to bring my friend for lunch and it was a big mistake. we came in through the front and the waitress greeted us with a half a smile while eating at the bar 🤔and gave a very half ass attitude. She didn’t even lead us to our tables when we asked to sit outside we weren’t given menus and no indication that anybody would be coming to see us at any time. We ended up sitting outside waiting for our server for over 15 minutes and she never came. I had to call the establishment from my table to bring them out here to serve us. It was very embarrassing and the waitress decided to put the blame on someone else instead of apologizing and doing the right thing. I decided to order fried pickles and I got a BLT. You would think the BLT is pretty easy to make and you can’t mess it up but somehow they did, the tomato they gave me in It was complete mush and it was actually bubbling from going so bad over such a long period of time. I’m not sure how their kitchen is kept up, but I would never recommend anybody to eat at this place. The waitress did not have happy attitude at all, which made the feeling of the environment very off. She looked like she would rather not be there. My friend ordered a burger and she thought it was OK but we’ve had better for sure. I asked the waitress to take my sandwich back after taking a single bite and I actually felt sick after trying to eat that sandwich! I’m really disappointed because this pub has been here since before I even moved to Greendale and all this time, I never tried them, I had high hopes and now I know. 🤢👎this was really upsetting… I hope you guys bring Gordon Ramsey here on the show...
Read moreIt was my first time here, but my gfs second time, since she said it was a pretty good place. So, we decided to go with some friends to check it out at around 7:30pm. Fast seating, waitress was decent, however the food we order wasnt satisfying. The pretzel and cheese was very good. I was initially going to try the prime rib, but they ran out which was understandable since it was their Saturday special that started at 4pm. So, i decided to try the Ruben sandwitch and was disappointed. There was barely any meat, the meat was flavorless and warm. The meat was like crumbly and super soft, i dont know but ive had way better Rebens than this one. My fries were stale as if they were sitting under a heated lamp for hours. My gf ordered the Greek Freak burger and she said it was "eh", the burger didn't taste homemade. So, I tried it and tbh it tasted like a burger king patty. She said her fries were good compared to mine. Our friends ordered a steak sandwich and that thing looked sad. Came out cold that the slice of cheese wasn't even melted on it and he said "how are the onions cold". It was lacking meat, but he did say the flavor was okay. His fries were stale awell. His wife order a bourbon grilled chicken sandwich with bacon and she said it was good. I tried it and it was the best of the 3 things ordered. Also, she said some of her fries were good and some stale. I don't normally do reviews, but this place had a high star rating, and just didnt live up to it today. Maybe ill give it a try...
Read moreJacked Mac: Panther Pub & Eatery is located in the heart of Greendale, WI. They offer a wide enough selection of drinks and food to please most groups. My party got Potato-Tots (crispy fried tater tots, bacon, sour cream, cheddar & green onion) and Boneless chicken wings with dry rub for appetizers. I skipped the warm up to save room for my entrée though, which was the “Jacked Mac”. The plate came with Cavataapi noodles soaked in a creamy white cheddar cheese sauce. Topping it off was chopped bacon & toasted panko. The toasted panko was a nice touch and the warm cheese sauce was fantastic. It could have used a little more of the toasted panko (a lot of the noodles on the periphery were bare) and definitely more cheese on top (as my followers know, I love a ton of cheese), but it was still a decent plate of Mac and Cheese (not quite on par with MACS, but better than Noodles & Company). I would also suggest using larger noodles, but the cheese sauce was bomb. It would also have been nice to have more add on options like pork or beef (they do allow chicken to be added, but I have an allergy to an antibiotic used in poultry and it was unclear if their chicken was of the no antibiotics ever variety). Doughboy approved *We went here to celebrate my Mom’s birthday and our server was nice enough to also provide a warm chocolate chip cookie with chocolate drizzle and ice...
