Rice Box — Restaurant in Greeneville

Really good tasty cantonese style family owned chinese restaurant.They give you a good amount of food. The dinner is served with fried rice or white rice nan egg role and either wonton or egg drop soup.The owner seemed to be really involved in the sales and customer service and it was a great transaction.The place was very clean and the owner or employee that cleaned the restaurant really paid attention to details. Last but not least is the price .I found that the price was probably one of the most reasonably priced chinese food in the tri city area .I have been to most of them and found the food service and price at at the Rice Box to be in the top 3 . The only reason I didn't give 5 stars to be honest was only because I have only went there the one time and I really need to try a few more dishes before I can even think about...

When we arrived the waitress approached us and was pretty rude. Then for some reason she covered her nose as if we smelled bad or something. Then she went and sent the bus girl over to be our waitress who couldn't understand English well by any means. She got our food wrong twice and when it came it wasn't good at all. The dumplings and egg rolls were fine but the meat was awful and full of fat in our main plate. I would recommend eating anywhere else when in the area. The following night we ate at Ole Guacamole in Johnson City and it was fantastic, now those people know how to serve guests and deliver excellent food. Don't try rice box or you will be sorely...

Terrible! Bad service, staggered food delivery, and a lovely long piece of hair in my food! Will never come back. Will never recommend.

Rude, one word response greeters, and servers, received appetizer long after 2 out of 3 people in our group received entre. 3 person waited for food for 10 minutes after others were served. When third person finally received food it had a hair in it!
