This restaurant was a 10/10 for sure! From the service, to the food, the whole entire atmosphere was amazing! So their phones were down when I had tried calling the day before and day of before our arrival. They addressed this as soon as I went in. I was trying to let them have a heads up (reservation) for a large party of 20. Since I could not get through via phone, I arrived first in my party about 20 minutes early to see if they could accommodate. This was my first time coming here so I really did not know what to expect. Most restaurants will turn you down or get all irritated with such large parties. I figured it would be the same. WRONG! There were only three servers there. (They are hiring according to their website if anyone is interested). They were ready to serve with smiles on their face! One server helped me set up and assured me this was no problem at all! She was so sincere and kind! We talked the entire time and prepped the area for the big party and I thought I had known her my whole life! Then once our whole party arrived and we came in, we met our server. I wish I would have gotten her name because she was fantastic from start to finish. She had no help with drinks, refills, bringing 10000 plates, condiments, nothing (which is fine because most servers do big tables independently, only noting this because she is still NEW and killed it). Everything came out in a timely fashion, NOTHING was incorrect! She totally knocked it out of the park! We were there until close and made sure to thank her 1000s of times. The atmosphere is cute and cozy! Definitely gives off country vibes! The food, OH THE FOOD! The meat was delicious! My husband and I got a sirloin and pulled pork. Both portions were very generous and filling for the price. I read many reviews before I came about pricing, respectfully if you cannot afford it, then do not eat there! The food was great and tasted so much better than the meat we usually get at other places pumped full of preservatives. I think pricing was definitely fair with market prices. Oh and we got a free dessert for my husband since it was his birthday! Our kids are all their food as well! It was a great experience overall! Definitely...
Read moreRead moreThis was the first time we had been there for dinner.(this is the greeneville location I am reviewing) We had been there once for breakfast. The prices seem high for the quality of the food. We started off with the app samplier. Price $15.99. You get two deviled eggs, two potato skins with meat, two cheese sticks(they are pretty large), and some friend pickles. It was okay but the price was high for the amount of food you receive and not really impressed. I would not get the samplier again. I might order the fried pickles again depending on the price. No to the deviled eggs and no to the cheese sticks. My sister got the chopped steak with okra and the salad. ($15.99 + $1.00 extra for the salad) She seemed to enjoy her meal however she had not eat all day long so she was very hungry. She did comment on how good the salad was. My meal i was not so happy with. I had the two chicken breast meal it was two very flat pieces of chicken and I mean very flat. it pices me off even more when I see pieces of this meal from the Morristown location and it looks much, much different.( the pics from the Morristown location look like lump chicken breast ang lot flat pieces of chicken. The creamed corn looked way past its life and was dried out looking. Again pics from the Morristown location were much more appealing than what was sit in front of me.The mashed potatoes I am sure were past there hold time too. we both had tea to drink and it was okay. Our meal was $76(that includes the tip of $11.71 because our waitress was good). Would I go back for dinner(supper)?Maybe but not sure. Would I recommend this place to...
Circle S review: We've been here a couple of times. Food wasn't top notch, but OK for the price. Today both me and my husband ordered the exact same meal - 8oz filet medium-rare with 2 side orders of their deviled eggs($28.99 I believe)plus a water each for us The steak took about 35 min to come out. When we finally got our meal, the waitress asked us to cut open the steak to make sure it's alright. The filet was way overcooked at well done. We sent the steaks back, but ate the deviled eggs while we waited another 15 min. When they brought it to the table they asked to cut it open again and it was purple on the inside. At first we said we'd eat it, but it was just cold in the middle and did not taste right(fishy taste.) We politely asked our waitress to take the meals off the bill. The blonde (what we assume) Manager brought us out our check, and explained she took $30 off and walked away immediately. We complained to our waitress saying, we're not paying $30 for 4 eggs. So she talked to the manager and she came over with a new check and said that she took an additional $15 off, because it was already two steak meals before and two steak meals now and that is all she can do for us. I said, we didn't eat any of the steak though and $15 for 4 eggs is way overpriced. We essentially paid 15$ for 4 deviled eggs and water. So just a heads up to anyone if your meal isn't right, this specific manager won't make it right for you. We definitely won't...
