Horrible customer service. We were pretty regular customers who spent about 40-50 dollars 1-3 times a week. Last night, my wife placed an order (our normal sandwich order that we always get the same way). She ordered the sandwiches plain with just meat and cheese. We picked our order up and when we got home it was wrong. They put mayonnaise and lettuce on them. I cannot eat mayo. My wife called them and they treated her like she was lying and they got the order right. They said that we’d need to bring the sandwiches back or they would give her a credit. It’s not plausible nor does it make any sense to drive 25 minutes each way with a newborn baby because of their screw up. They then tell her the credit is for 3 dollars and hang up before she could even say anything.
Tonight, I called and spoke to the “manager”. This guy had an attitude from the moment he got on the phone. While I remained professional and calm, he portrayed a wannabe tough guy attitude over the phone. He continuously interrupted and became loud and was over talking me and my wife. He told me “it’s not my fault you live 25 minutes away”. He’s right, that is not his fault. What is his fault is his incompetent employees and him not willing to fix their mistakes and make it right. He continued to defend his policy and say he would not give a credit for the 2 sandwiches that his employee screwed up. Finally he says I’ll give you one free sandwich. I’m sorry, but it’s not a negotiation to me. I didn’t want one free sandwich. I wanted what I paid for and did not get. He very rudely said they can’t take our word and trust everyone (basically calling his customers liars). I attempted to give him a phone number to look at our order history and how much I spend there, but he refused to do so. This is no way to treat customers, and is not good business. If he is that hard up for a 12 dollar sandwich then I feel sorry for them. Attached is a picture of the incorrect sandwich from last night.
I hope that higher management or the owner reads these reviews and trains his staff. If someone working for me acted the way that manager did, they would not have a job. At this point I’d want not only my sandwiches but an apology as well. Hopefully upper management can understand the business aspect of this. Their wannabe tough guy manager who tried to imply that I am a liar over a 12 dollar sandwich just cost them over 2k a year in revenue. Not...

Read moreAs a student at ETSU in the 1970's (Yes. I'm an old fart), I became somewhat addicted to Greg's Pizza, and to this day, I still travel occasionally to Johnson City from west Hamblen County to enjoy one. Someone told me that Rocky's Pizza was very similar and I should try one. Today, I did that very thing, and came away highly impressed. It is every bit as good, if not better, than Greg's. I don't know anything about Rocky's business model or thoughts on expansion, but the pizza I had today was better than any pizza in Hamblen County, and better than Big Daddy's or Best Italian in downtown Gatlinburg. Based on the quality of pizza I had today, Rocky's would be a succes in either of these locales....
