Tennessee Trinity 1st and 2nd visit reviews:

Pork belly 1st visit wonderful with crispy and fatty parts 2nd visit dry, chard, 2 unedible pieces, replacement pieces dry and chard too but edible, lacking seasoning

Chicken 1st visit isn't too moist in places, the breast for sure too dry, the skin is flavorful, but under skin there's no seasoning

Sliced Turkey (with honey mustard) 2nd visit was recommended by my sister it's delicious and tender with a nice sauce i recommend if made the way i got tonight it comes in thin slices sandwich style

Sliced brisket 1st visit good enough, nothing special in flavor and not that moist in places I needed the bbq from table to season and moisten

Shredded/chopped brisket 2nd visit dryyyyy brisket no bbq could save it and lacks smoke flavor looked dry before I tried eating to confirm how dry

Macaroni and cheese 1st and 2nd visit my son enjoys but as an adult i think it needs a stronger cheese taste and more cheese, it's not covered in cheese sauce just lightly coated

Sweet potato souffle 1st visit yummy it was creamy and yummy nice crunchy toasted oatmeal on top 2nd visit didn't feel or taste souffle like first time I tried, the sweet potato wasn't roasted and oatmeal wasnt crunchy like 1st time, but i enjoy the side regardless but wasn't done right 2nd visit

Bbq Beans 1st visit very delicious lots of bacon pieces wanted more 2nd visit not the same today they weren't as bbq flavored and had 1 piece of meat just a piece of fat

8pm 9/28/25 2nd visit full review decided to post review cooks need help!

Bread was tough/stale i told server to let them know not to serve to others Replacement bread was the same just stale and crunchy Pork belly is dry and chard and lacks flavor can't taste almost any seasoning I got a replacement which was better but still overcooked, but i guess everything was cooked too much and chard, first batch was unedible it was sandpaper dry they gave me 2 end pieces and very dry middle piece Dryyyyy brisket no bbq could save it and lacks smoke flavor Macaroni and cheese my son enjoys but as an adult i think it needs a stronger cheese taste and more cheese its not covered in cheese sauce Turkey is delicious and tender nice honey mustard sauce i recommend if made the way i got tonight it comes in slices sandwich style Sweet potato souffle is like a creamy souffle with oatmeal on top for texture didn't get much crunch from oatmeal like first time i visited and didn't have any roasted flavor The bbq beans today they weren't as bbq flavored and has 1 piece of meat in it, last time i came it had so much yummy pieces of meat not sure if its a bacon or not i didn't get any this time just a piece of fat

Julian very caring server was checking that everything was good Server let manager know about the pork belly and manager gave me 10% off and free appetizer card I told the server about the bread also but nothing else since what can she do the cooks are at fault for food unconsistency

I would not go back just in case food remains this unconsistent the two visits of dry meat with no flavor is a big downer not worth spending money on I'll come for my free appetizer though since I did pay 90% of cost of 2nd visit meal when most was not done right in kitchen My 1st visit there were some disappointments the chicken, sliced brisket and macaroni could be better 2nd visit just sealed the deal of not worth the money for food I've gotten Overall Definitely need help in kitchen they need to check flavor and quality...

We went to the Greeneville location on Monday 2/26 at about 6:15 pm. We were seated and ordered an appetizer (smoked wings) and our food. The wings came out and my wife took a bite of one and ate it and after putting it back down we realized there was blood coming out if it. At first I could but find where it was coming from and then I found a chunk of raw chicken that had blood on it. I didn’t want to make a scene so I went over to the kitchen and showed the manager. She was extremely rude and told me that it wasn’t undercooked that it was pink/red juice because it was smoked. I told her no it was undercooked and I showed her the part of the chicken I had seen and she argued it was not undercooked and that it was smoked. I said I eat smoked wings all the time and have never seen anything like that. She said they would make me new ones and I declined. I went back to my table and told my wife how I could not believe she argued with me about it or believe how rude she was!!! I was annoyed. At this point we had been sitting there 30-40 minutes and my drink had been empty for a while. I asked our server if I could get a refill. She was completely rude and told me I was going to have to learn to wait because she had a big table and they all wanted their checks split and she didn’t have time to get me a refill. She was so rude!! That was it. I was done and we left. We drove to the Johnson City location and talked to the manager and filed a complaint. Now my wife is super sick with food poisoning from the bite of undercooked chicken!!!

This was the 5th or 6th time we had been there and every time we have been the same manager has been so rude, the service is awful and they have messed up someone’s food. I have never had issues at the...

2/12/24. First time here. Hostess was very Nice. Should have gotten Her Name 😥 but didn't. Love all the Re*claimed Barn Wood & Metal in the Building.

Server ( Again , No Name * She did say , but I wasn't paying attention ) .... was Nice and knowledgeable about Sauces. Answered other Questions we had.

I had the Burnt Ends & Turkey with 2 Sides ( Beans & Red Skin Potatoes Salad ) .... Husband had Chopped Brisket / Turkey & Burnt Ends ( Beans & ??? Sides ) .

He liked it .

I'm the Picky One * The Smoked Flavor to these Meat's was GREAT ( reminded me of Home ) Beans had the same nice Smoked taste too 😋😋😋😋. Potatoe Salad , could use some Salt ( although many watch their Salt intake * I do too ) but a Kiss a Salt OR Celery Salt OR maybe a Mix of Mayonnaise / Ranch ... would have been a PLUS. It just seemed Plain even with added Salt to it. The Scallions * were just a little to big , IF you happened to get a good sized one ( as I did ) 😥 . Cut smaller or a pinch of Relish would have made this stand out.

We didn't ask ** ( again I'm the Picky One ) ..... I would rather put my own Sauce on the Meat ( s ) only because I like the " Natural Beauty " of a Food and I don't like Hot ( Flavor ) of Sauces. Turkey was Spicy to me * ate less than Half of it ( did bring it home though ) .. Burnt Ends * I should have known better from my few past experiences with them ..... I can't stand FAT 😥😥 at all .. mine had just a bit to much , for my Picky Butt ** again the Sauce was to Spicy / Strong.

I'd go back ..... After a Phone Call beforehand ( to see IF what I ordered ) could be made with NO SAUCE 🤔🤔.

Would like to try the Key Lime Pie Cheesecake 😋😋😋 but we didn't.

Like I said * I'm very Picky * but I'd...

We went on a Tuesday evening about 5pm, not long after they opened. We only had a 5 minute wait but there appeared to be a full house and plenty more people waiting by the time we left (we overheard someone at the bar mention they were told 45-60 minutes). This was our first time at this chain and this location. Our server was really good, especially considering we were upstairs and she was constantly running up and down. We were pleased with the experience. We had the cornbread and deviled eggs for appetizers. For our entrees, I had the pulled pork sandwich with fries and added a side of fried green tomatoes. My husband had the dinner which included 3 meats and 3 sides. Everything was very good. We also tried all of their sauces, which weren’t too bad. My preference was the Stoney Creek Original. I know some are complaining about the wait times but that is to be expected when you have a new restaurant open. We went the following weekend with my parents. Wait time was about an hour. So I checked in and they text you your wait time & updates. I went out to wait in the vehicle with my family. If you change your mind and decide to go elsewhere, their text message has an option where you can text them to remove you from the list. This was very convenient and easy peasy. We’ll probably go again at either an off time or once the newness has died down.

This place is on a different level. The beer is a different company all together and it’s some of the best made variety of flavors I’ve ever had. The bbq is absurd… some of the best I’ve ever had, and I’ve been around. The warning I would give is check the hours of operation and try to arrive no more than 1-2hrs before closing. There is high demand for this place. We got there 30m before they shut the doors and were lucky that Adam our bartender was willing to take us. He was the 5 out of 5 that made for the up-star review. Not pushy, busy, but very present and accommodating. The menu is beautifully crafted, the atmosphere is exactly what you are looking for, and the variety is amazing. The amount of wonderful beer and delicious bourbon/whiskeys available easily makes this a must try. If you are a foodie, then know that the fried anything isn’t from a freezer but a crafted work of art. Everything pickled was actually delicious but not obnoxious… and I wouldn’t be surprised if it is all pickled in house or near by. Don’t worry if your wallet isn’t full, there are lots of options. Check the menu photos I posted and come ready for a taste bud extravaganza. Don’t forget to ask for the mustard bbq sauce if you’re a fan. It’s to order for!

I hope Southern Craft shows a little more southern hospitality in the future. The Johnson City location always had the best food, drinks, atmosphere and service. We arrived at this new Greeneville location at 4:30 pm on a Friday, and the tables outside were equipped with condiments for serving, and were unoccupied. When I inquired at the door about being seated outside, I was told there was no service outside because it was "too cold." It was 77 degrees at the time. We also could not be seated inside either because there was a wait. I would have preferred honesty in regard to their short staffing issues, rather than be given a stupid answer. There are enough restaurants everywhere with the same problem. Greeneville is desperate for restaurants if you exclude the fast food chains. So I guess this place will be busy no matter how difficult it may be to find employees and how poorly they treat guests as a result. The attached picture is from the entryway.
