The customer service at this store is terrible. My mother-in-law, who is in her 70’s, has used AT&T prepaid for several years. It was time for her to get a new phone so on Tuesday she went to the AT&T store in Greeneville where Zak told her she needed to go to Wal-mart and buy a phone and when she came back to the AT&T store he would set it up for her. My mother-in-law bought a phone and returned where Zak supposedly set up her phone for her but when she tried to use the phone it would not work to make calls or texts of any kind. She returned to the store on Wednesday to talk to Zak about the problem but he informed her that he couldn’t help her with that specific problem (something to do with the SIM card) but his manager could. The only problem was that the manager would not be there until Friday so she would have to come back then. She returned on Friday and spoke with the manager (I believe his name was Dakota) and she was told that he could not help her without Zak since he initiated the service. Zak was not working that day. When she mentioned to the manager that Zak had told her to see the manager for help and that she had been several days without service due to their error his only comment to her was that she could call customer service if she had a complaint. My mother-in-law went 4 days without phone service because no one wanted to take the time to help her. I have never been a fan of AT&T and this is just another reason for me to never like this company. My mother-in-law is no longer an AT&T customer but is happy to have her new...
Read moreI had one of the most appalling customer service experiences of my life at this location. I was directed here by AT&T tech support to get a new SIM card. What should have been a simple, straightforward task turned into an unnecessarily hostile and humiliating encounter.
From the moment I walked in, the staff — particularly the individual wearing a headband — was rude, dismissive, and unprofessional. He repeatedly cut me off mid-sentence, told me to “let him talk,” then walked away to help other customers without explanation. At one point, he simply got up and disappeared into the back room. The other employee on duty stood by, laughing at the behavior as if it were some kind of performance.
To make matters worse, the employee in question told me I should “go sign with another cell phone provider” and that he wasn’t going to “waste his time or a SIM card” on my phone. The tone and delivery were condescending, disrespectful, and entirely unprovoked. I was following clear instructions from AT&T’s own support team, and instead of receiving help, I was met with outright hostility.
The entire interaction felt surreal and deeply degrading. I left feeling belittled, humiliated, and genuinely shaken. It is unacceptable for any customer to be treated this way — especially by a representative of a major company.
I strongly advise others to avoid this location if they expect even a basic level of courtesy, professionalism, or human decency. If I could leave zero...
Read moreIf I could give a 0 for this review I would. I have been with ATT then First Net for over 10 years. I did the Samsung trade in and Jordan my sales rep told me that the trade in would cover the entire cost of the Samsung S23+ So I got the phone and was told that all of the documents were being emailed to me. Jordan kept the tablet he was working on down under the table the entire time and in general seemed unmotivated to provide quality customer service. It wasn't a huge issue because I thought I was getting a new phone for basically free. Fast forward a week and a half later I find out that the trade in only covered $800 of the phone price. When speaking with the store manager he basically showed his entire disinterest in my complaint and said there was nothing he could do amd clearly stated that there was no way Jordan had made a mistake or lied. This store lied to me and my girlfriend in order to upgrade our phones. We clearly asked Jordan multiple times to be sure that the phone was free and since his manager stated that the phone had never been free...I can only assume that he lied to get a bigger sale. Do not go to this location. The 2 boys running this store do not...
