The Dog House — Restaurant in Greeneville

Just found this place out of the blue, absolutely AMAZING food and completely impressed! The combinations they have are outstanding. Only reason for rating a 4 instead of a 5 is due to the complete rudeness of one of the staff. I wanted to be sure The Guido was spicy sausage instead of sweet so I asked. Overheard the lady in the kitchen with black hair and white at the very front very LOUDLY talking about and making fun of how I had asked such a question. When she noticed me looking at her she immediately quieted down and started speaking amongst herself and the other cook. Besides this particular thing, I thought the place was amazing. Look wonderful and had a great atmosphere about it. I will be back simply because the food was that delicious. Save for the poor customer service on one persons part. At least wait until someone is out of earshot before you start...

Two chili dogs with slaw were $8.50. Two ordinary hotdogs with cheap buns and weiners, definitely not worth that price. And the strangest thing is they put mustard on top of the slaw. They give you the food placed directly on tiny little metal trays (no paper in between) and a fork wrapped tightly in plastic wrap. There are cheap metal tables and cheap lightweight metal chairs that are uncomfortable to sit in. Also added a 3.5 % fee for "non-cash adjustment." The average costs for credit card processing ranges from 1.5% to 2.9% for swiped cards, so they have decided to make money off their customers for using credit cards. So thankful this spot made its way to my side of town. So many things are great here. My favorite is the Frenchie, which is like a French dip hot dog combo. If you like skyline chili, try it here. Not exactly the same, but let’s be honest, skyline isn’t exactly high quality... but it is here! I often find myself trying one of the specials because they are so creative and always delicious. You might have driven past here and missed it as it’s tucked away and almost hidden. But it’s a must visit spot in town and if you try it once you’ll probably end...
