Hyperion Grill — Restaurant in Greeneville

First time here... Nice place. Love the Halloween decorations !! Caught my eye because I'm a Halloween Decorator ----- way out !! Server Sarah R. - was very nice ! Loved Her Hair ! Food was Dead on Correct ( as should be ) Temperature of Food was Fresh/Hot - - Side Salad , was pretty darn good ( for a side ), more than enough of a Salad . We had the Philly Cheese Sub & they were more than willing to add Mushrooms ( very fair , extra charge for ) & Swiss Cheese ( instead of American - Philly's , need Swiss ( to me )) . Owner's Son ( ? ) was extremely Friendly an answered any questions we had ( probably talked his Ear's off - Lol )

Love that you can Smoke inside ( don't find that one , often ) 👍👍👍there.

Also have Outside seating.. Place is open till 3- A.M. Different thing's going on there on different night's... Food Prices are GREAT !!!

We will be back & also tell any of our Friend's to check it out .

❤️ 4 Year's , later ..... This is STILL a " must " place for us to come to . They have Karaoke 🎤🎤 ( I don't Sing ) once a Week / D. J. Trivia & Usually a Band once a Week ..... Nightly Drink Specials .....

05/05/22 ** Came back Tonight after not being here for a few Week's ....... I understand because of COVID 19 many Prices in Day to Day Life , have drastically CHANGED ** I get that 💯 % .....

Needless to say 😲 We ( Husband & I ) were 🤔 Shocked 😲 @ the New Menu Pricing ..... gone UP considerably --- Felt I was @ Logan's OR Red 🦞 Lobster .

Food is great here but the cut backs on what you'd a normally gotten ( 1 Side , now with many of the thing's we used to get " instead of 2 ) 😲😲😲 wouldn't of been so bad IF the " extra " side hadn't also DOUBLED 😲 to of gotten as extra....

Seen that 😲 and I was ready to leave ....... Stayed an just had a 2- Egg , 1 * Biscuit & Gravy , Bacon

Breakfast for Supper .

Guess they do enough with the " Drinking Crowd " ...... We don't Drink

So this will be another 🤔🤔 place cut off our List to Eat at ......

1/16/24 ** Because of Snow ❄️ & COLD 🥶🥶 Temperature's ..... many places here that we WOULD have gone to for Dinner ** we're CLOSED .....

1st . Time back , since 5/5/22 😲😲😲😲

Few of our usual Servers 👍 still here. 13 Degree's 🥶❄️ Outside , not as many people as would have been here . Server was New - to us -- didn't get Her Name 😯 but she was OUTSTANDING !!!!!

We got the Taco Salad ** Chips on the side .....

Smaller , than before Covid * but really almost the " right " size 👍👍👍👍👍.

VERY GOOD 😊😋 And again , Server was so Nice & attentive 👍👍👍 * kept our Drink's * filled .

May start coming back sooner than almost 2...

I order from Hyperion about once a week thru Door Dash. But lately my simple order (a grilled cheese sandwich & fries) is incorrect more times than not. Today was no exception, I received a wrong item again. But that is not my reason for writing this review. This concerns the manager, Brandi that I spoke with. Never in my 64yrs have I been treated so disrespectfully. I was shocked and appalled over her behavior. I tried to explain what was wrong with my order but honestly I couldn't get my point across because she talked over me every time I tried to speak. Not only was she extremely rude and not sorry for what happened swore at me twice! Swore at a paying customer. I realize times have changed but I didn't realize things had gotten to this point. Not once did she apologize for something I did not have any control over she swore and was very unprofessional, telling me she didn't need to listen to me "tell her how to do her job" ! After trying to get a word in I tried telling her I purposely called before the dinner rush (3:45pm) but her response was I probably shouldn't order from them at all! I'm trying to get the name of the owner of Hyperion so that I can pass along what happened to me and how their manager Brandi treats people. Fingers crossed for some type of positive resolution. 7/2/24 Update- I spoke with the owners daughter who couldn't have been any nicer- she was so helpful and courteous. The worker, Brandi was the worst person I've ever dealt with. I'm not sure if I'll be able to order from them again because I want zero contact with Brandi, I've been cussed out and yelled at enough from her! She should not work with the public with her attitude. Just wanted to thank the owners daughter for being kind...

I reviewed this restaurant thru the DoorDash app well just a star ⭐️ rating they request after your order but I wanted to make a point to give credit to Hyperion Grill in Greeneville TN. I can’t believe that I have missed out for so long on such a great place to eat. I have been there before and I am embarrassed to say that I always just thought it to be a place to stop and get a drink with friends. Desperately looking for something new in this town. Anyone local will know choices are limited especially if you want something good like a steak. My husband and I ordered and I got the New York Strip- Steak Fries - House Salad. My meal was perfect!! Since ordering that night I have talked my husband into ordering 2 more times in a short time span. I never give reviews but I was impressed enough that I looked for a way to review this restaurant and give them proper credit. If you haven’t tried them in a long time as it was in my case then I suggest you check out their menu. Not only do they have a LARGE variety to fit most tastes but they deliver which is a huge bonus. I have craved the NY strip and fries because it was that good. I’m not a huge meat eater but love a good steak 🥩 when it’s done right. I’m glad I found a restaurant in Greeneville that does it really really good. You’re awesome Hyperion Grill. Just wanted to tell you that. You are what’s for supper...
