I’m Am afraid I have to give this restaurant a one because it will not let me give zero. I thought I would try this restaurant for the the first time on January 16 th at 12:12 in the day. We were greeted by a person at the door who was wearing a mask. I ask to make Togo order wasn’t really looking around, I was really looking at their menu to decide what We would like. After we ordered my son and I were really looking at menu for 10 minutes after we were done I looked around restaurant at this time I noticed that the waitress and the person making sushi wasn’t wearing mask. So then I looked into kitchen and saw NO one was wearing a mask. At this time I asked the waitress to cancel my order (already paid for) because I was afraid to eat food prepared by people not wearing mask. At this point she actually raised her voice at me and was very hateful at this I responded for her not to yell at me I just didn’t trust it. So she berated me very loudly and hateful “saying oh and your just noticing we don’t have mask on.” Then when I agreed she said consider it canceled “ then I had to say I need a refund after getting it she gave me receipt I replied ty as we were walking to the door in very loud voice she yelled thanks now and have a good day being sarcastic everyone was looking on as I reached the door I thanked her for her lovely attitude and that I would be sure to leave a nice review... I’m sorry that in these times I don’t feel good about someone making my food without precautions so sorry that this really made the waitress mad however I have the right. So if you are like me and at high risk you might need to know that on this day only one person employed by this restaurant had a mask on... I haven’t eaten inside a restaurant since March 2020 I don’t even go thru a fast food place if they don’t wear mask. So I really hope people take all this info into account when choosing a place to get sushi. As for myself my family and any person I know will never even dare to try Novas sushi ever again you had one chance and you really blew it. I will continue to inform everyone I come into contact with about the terrible service and the fact that you don’t take precautions to make sure your clients...
Read moreHere's an honest review from a local who's not related to the employees.when I arrive not one single employee was wearing a mask. To top that off the table that we were sat at was extremely sticky that I had to use my only napkin to clean the table after being sat. the menu is made up in the most American convoluted way that when you order a meal your server will seem confused by what you order. I ordered the yakisoba when it arrived I had noodles that were already cut up less than 1 inch Long. this place is clearly staffed by the local high school kids who both cook and serve the food. I also ordered a hibachi meal with chicken and steak when it arrived there were CANNED carrots on my plate. WHAT KIND OF RESTAURANT PUTS CANNED FOOD ON YOUR PLATE! TOP ALL OF THIS OFF ONE OF THE SERVERS I WITNESSED BOX UP AN ENTIRE TABLES LEFTOVERS AFTER THEY PAID AND LEFT. WAS THAT FOOD RECYCLED OR WERE THEY GOING TO EAT IT LATER... EITHER WAY GROSS! I will...
Read moreThe food here is... fine, not amazing but has highlights, but there is a very serious problem in the decor. The distinctive, branching-patterned tabletops currently used in this restaurant were made via fractal wood burning. Fractal wood burning is an excessively dangerous practice that puts the craftsman at a supremely stupid amount of risk to their life. There is no safe method extant of doing fractal wood burning.
I have no idea if the proprietors actually know how mind bendingly dangerous the practices that went into a fairly small part of their restaurant are, but I really can't not say something about it. The support of the practice, supplying market demand for fractal burned pieces, in terms of danger、is kind of like paying someone to make chairs for your restaurant out of rusty pieces of scrap metal barehanded.
If the scrap metal could instantly electrocute you to death at any moment.
All the floor staff are wonderful,...
