I'm not posting this kind of review to get anything out of it (such as money back or a gift card). I just want to leave my review because it's how businesses make improvements.
I was at the McDonald's on North Memorial in Lancaster today on my break. I placed a meal order on the app and arrived and signed in at the reserved #4 spot at 2:31pm. The app said it would take about 5 minutes for someone to bring the food out. Good, no big deal. I sat there for 16 minutes. Nobody came out and told me it was taking a little longer or anything (if that was the case that someone did that I'd be fine). Another car pulls in #5 and their food comes out in about 5 minutes... So I get out of my car and ask the young lady about my order so she went back and checked. She brought it out and apologized, she was very nice about it. But the fact is, usually when someone does those place ahead or skip the line orders, it's supposed to be faster. I was sitting there for almost my entire lunch break waiting for it to come, so I was just a little disappointed and frustrated is what I'm trying to say. It shouldn't have taken that long.
Like I said before, if someone would have come out and told me it was taking a little bit longer, that'd be fine. But I ordered a 10pc nugget, a large fry, and large drink (order #1683).
I'm just leaving this at 3 stars because the girl that checked up on it for me was very nice and my food was hot, not cold. Just wanted to leave this here in hopes that this order thing gets some...
Read moreCash register was down and I was not aloud to use my McCafe rewards. $3.99 could have been saved. I was told no the machines are down. The way I see it they could have manually deducted the purchase. It is not my fault their machines are down. I felt there was no courtesy at all. I also felt there was some kind of attitude because of possible stress for not having the cash registers do the math for them and having to do it manually. I completely understand being stressed out but when the customer has a coupon regardless it should be taken. They could have at least gave me cookies or something you would think. Because again, that is not my fault that their machines are down. The woman working the drive-thru was very nice and very respectful. The manager was who I saw a slight problem with she seemed very stressed out and I felt like she did not handle my situation correctly or with courtesy or respect. Customer's always right but I didn't feel right. The McMuffin bread was burnt all around the edges. This happens quite often during the night shift. Not happy. Overall I've had a better experience during the day. I believe today could have been a little bit better and at least they could have took the customers order as it was supposed to be...
Read moreEvery time we go to this McDonald's in the evening, we are greeted with so much attitude, our meal is almost always half cold or half missing and that is IF they even get your meal correct when you order. Then you have to wait for your food and they forget about you or what you ordered 2 times before you get it all. Tonight, even the manager, who didn't look more than 16 with her fake eye lashes and her mascara anywhere but on her eye lashes had the attitude that beat her employees. WTG! Leading by example!! I just got off of work and just wanted some dinner. I'm sorry that you have a job sitting in the dinning room listening to your phone while your team is standing around in huddles talking about God only knows what, and can't even do the simple tasks you all are expected to do for the money you make. Then you confront an upset customer with not letting them tell you why they are upset without interrupting them every 3 words. Then turn the situation around on them like they were the ones in the wrong for being upset that you just took their hard earned money and basically made it trash. Thank you!! I hope your upper management can turn this McDonald's back into the place that could proudly sell "Billions of Burgers" like...
