Okay,,,,, this is a tough one but here goes. Iâve frequented this establishment for well over a decade. I always love the food and often enjoy conversation with the staff and fellow patrons. Over the course of time, there has been one âmanagerâ that has been abrasive and frankly seems to be not friendly towards older people like myself. This last Thursday one fellow complained that I was looking at his children(?) when in fact I was looking at the KENO board and the OSU womenâs basketball game just over my left shoulder. He stared at me for a bit which I noticed so I turned to him and he asked me if I was okay. I responded saying that I wouldnât ask him that and he said he was ââfu(king nutsâ (in front of the children). This caught me off guard and alarmed me. The server then told me to turn around which I did. I was confused but chose to comply. I didnât want to cause any further trouble. So, after bowling and doing some shopping my wife and I decided to stop in again this evening for a beer and a snack and found out this fellow complained that I had somehow done something wrong. When I tried to say something about the previous evening I was shut down rather curtly by the previously mentioned server. Then my wife mentioned our confusion again and we were met with an explanation from the manager that we didnât have any say in the situation and were wrong. Frankly, this hurt but this was the manager I spoke of earlier. Sheâs often been very âwhat you have to say doesnât matterâ. Which is terrible! So, this is it. We paid our bill and then gave the two gift cards I had to a couple of ladies with children eating there and left. My wife and I are finished and will take our money/ tips elsewhere. Being disrespected is one thing. Being not listened to is another. My wife and I send our best to those that work at this Roosters that appreciated our patronage- Nicole, Kia, Danielle Chris, Tre, Alex, Logan and others. ...
Read moreJust ordered a lettuce wedge and when I got it home, there was about a tablespoon of blue cheese and bacon crumbles and no salad dressing. When I called they told me to bring it back and when I got there they said that the girl asked me what salad dressing I wanted, and I said none which was not true she did not ask me, then the manager said well, she thinks that you didnât understand her because you just kinda said uhm, which to me means, then you ask again until you have clarity of the order. The manager handled this very poorly. There was no customer service. She just said will just end it here. This is what it is and Iâll give you your money back, and I even said itâs a shame because I wonât be coming back here and the sad thing is all she wouldâve had to do is say I am so sorry. Let me give you salad dressing and let me give you one more tablespoon of blue cheese and bacon and she wouldâve had a returning customer. It wouldâve cost her a small container of blue cheese, and a small container of salad dressing. Poor poor business practice, and very poor food will not be returning and will be telling this story to as many people as possible until the manager learns how to handled a dissatisfied customer with better...
Read moreFood was good, but for some reason my medium boneless wings weren't very hot/spicy. But they were huge!! One was as big as a chicken leg!! Can't complain about that ;) Service was discombobulated seemed confused. Had to ask for a spoon to stir the cream in my coffee, common sense. Also had to ask for plates, napkins, a bag to put my 3 takeout containers in, again common sense. Who wants to walk out with a stack of wobbly Styrofoam containers. Servers appeared to be standing around more than they should be, they could be giving customers their silverware etc. One more thing I don't like and some people might not care about. But I wish they had to tie their hair up. It grosses me out when they bring out the trays of food sitting on their shoulder right beside all that loose hair. If I worked there, I wouldn't want to risk getting food in my hair, besides hair in customers food. Just my opinion on something that I feel could be changed for the good of the restaurant employees as well as...
