Extreme Creamery — Local services in Hocking Township

I’m not typically one to leave bad reviews or complain buuuutttt…….My family of 6 was beyond excited to try this place. The extreme shakes look delicious. And the toppings were pretty good. Everything else was horrible. Customer service…horrible. Cleanliness…disgusting. Milkshake…absolutely disgusting and the milk may have even been spoiled. It was a combination of milk with cottage cheese at the bottom. We waited more than 20 minutes while 10 “workers” stood around and tried to get out of doing any work at all. No big deal, I realize customer service is a thing of the past so I wouldn’t really complain about that if it weren’t for everything else that happened. While my wife’s death shake sat after being made, a multitude of flies were landing in it. I asked if it was part of my order so she could get to it before the flies are it all to which I received a snotty answer, eye roll and then was talked about amongst the workers for even asking. Then we finally got our milkshakes. Impressive looking yes. And the whip cream, and other toppings were pretty good. Then we started drinking our $13 milkshake and quickly realized it tasted terrible. After taking the lid off to examine the situation, I realized it was pretty much milk. I then pulled the straw out to see what was thick at the bottom and realized it was some kind of cottage cheese looking stuff. Prepare for a long wait, the first time we went we waited about a hour and the second time we waited 1 hour and 45 mins outside. With this whole COVID-19 only 20 people are allowed in at once. AND THEY STILL ALLOWED PEOPLE TO EAT IN THE PLACE! Which meant we were waiting outside in the heat for people to finish eating so we could go inside just to order... There were multiple times where no one was in line to order because they were full occupancy from everyone sitting inside enjoying their ice cream. SO WE HAD TO WAIT FOR PEOPLE TO FINISH JUST TO GO IN TO ORDER!! I feel like not allowing people to eat inside would help the line move a little faster, I also think opening a few hours earlier would help as well. (We arrived 20mins before they opened and still had to wait a very long time) also a few more workers would be amazing as well, they are still pretty slow, even though the workers are constantly working and look very busy adding a few extra workers would help the process to go faster.

With that all being said shakes were good, BUT you can literally get everything used to make it at Walmart... store bought cakes/brownies , pretty sure they used Cheesecake factory cheese cake because it tasted the same.. everything could be purchased at Walmart. Price was a little steep but your paying for the presentation, which was 100% on point! (P.S they use so much blue dye in the Cookie Monster shake it will make you poo blue) 😂

Over all place was good, and i’d go back. But wouldn’t wait in line...

The extreme shakes are very unique and look great for pictures, but I was disturbed by how filthy the place was.

I took a picture of the sticky looking, crumb covered counter that people's desserts are prepared on... that cheesecake slice they plopped there was part of my order.

You'd think with their prices that they would be a bit more sanitary and professional. They do not care about their image, so it makes me wonder if they care about food safety. If they present themselves like that to the public, how horrifying is it behind the counter?

I would've taken more pictures but I didnt want people to think I was taking pictures of them. Literally every table was sticky and covered in crumbs.

There were many teenage workers behind the counter. Many of them were standing around when I walked in. At least 1 of them could have cared enough to clean.

I personally will not come back to this place. I can pay less for higher...
