Wang's Garden Chinese Restaurant — Restaurant in Greenfield Township

Must have come on an off day. I ordered the Moo Goo Gai Pan and fried rice. Very disappointed, the Moo Goo Gai Pan is a nice, non-greasy dish with a delicate clear sauce over lots vegetables, mushrooms, and chicken. When I received it, it looked good but within a couple of minutes the sauce liquefied and was just a soup. The fried rice was nothing to write home about. I showed the owner what my dish looked like. She apologized and offered to make a new plate for me. I appreciated her sense of responsibility and although I can't speak the language, I know she was letting the cook know about it. I plan to return and see if my next experience is better. March 2022 Came back for another opportunity to see if my experience was better this time. It definitely was! The Moo Goo Gai Pan was cooked to perfection, all the vegetables were fresh al dente and the sauce was delicious. Glad I came back, I'll be bringing my girl next time. By the way, on my first experience, the lady did send me home with a fresh dish and it was way better. I have lived in Lancaster for a good while now and I have gone to planet fitness since 2018. When they opened up I just walk right over and put in an order for a last minute meal. Food has always been good but it makes me wonder how locals are treating the workers because they don't seem friendly or say as little as possible to avoid any altercations. I work in the trades going from home to home so I know how entitled and bitter some are and if you are going to treat service industry workers badly make your own damn food. I can't think of any other reason because I've seen how nasty customers have been the last few years. Glad you guys are in this strip, food is always hot, reasonably priced and I never wait that...

i was having the worst night of my entire life, so my friend decided to order me some food. Wangs Garden is my favorite spot in all of Lancaster to eat, so i chose that. he asked them in the special instructions to "draw a smiley face, this girl is really sad." and they were so, so kind. they drew smiley faces all over! all over everything with kind and sweet words that i really, really needed. and also even gave me free cake! thank you so much to the workers here. it was the kindest thing ever and it really helped me to feel even slightly better while i'm going through the pains of being alive and being a human, and dealing with a significant life change. above and beyond with these...
