I went to this S 27th location around 6:25 pm Saturday (11/27/21). Walked up to the door and it was locked. Went back to my vehicle and to the drive-thru. I inquired of the male employee on the speaker why the lobby was closed and no note. He responded they were short on staff. Then a female employee took over the conversation. I was giving my order and paused as I was trying to see around my mirror to find the sizes of crinkle cut fries. The female employee proceeded to total my order-I interrupted her to say I wasn't done ordering. She said but you paused and I told her why. She was argumentative during our whole exchange, said I yelled at her (I only raised my voice to tell her I wasn't done ordering when she was giving me a total so she would pause to listen to me). She then said she was no longer taking my order and have a good day. I indicated I wanted my order but she refused to take it even when I said I'd contact her manager and then she made a derogatory comment about my mother as I was leaving. I ended up driving over to the S 76th location and had GREAT service!
Also, the last few times we've ordered here at S 27th, the sandwiches were skimped on the meat, the crinkle cut fries were a 50/50 mix with curly fries (obviously not what was ordered) and was charged for cheese but didn't receive it. The food we received from S 76th on Saturday was excellent: sandwiches full of meat as we've come to expect and the fries only had a single piece of curly fries mixed in.
Based on this experience, I will never do business with the S 27th location again even though it's only blocks from my home; I only wish I could give no stars to this review. I will drive the extra distance to the S...
Read morestopped here to order their sliders and a shake. they were almost out of ice cream in their machine and instead of telling me that, they charged me for the shake then gave me a cup with the contents below the halfway mark. when i asked the guy if he could fill my shake further, he repeated my request to his supervisor with obvious sarcasm. I was then met with a snarky comment by a female who appeared to be the manager-something to the effect of "well we only fill to the halfway mark." then as her associate was watching her refill my shake properly, the associate made the comment "oh the shake machine is almost empty", to which the other woman ignored. So i guess the manager was trying to conceal the fact that they were almost out, and that was the real reason why I received what I got at first. Interesting and shady experience. will probably drive further out to avoid the...
