Roberto's Pizzeria — Restaurant in Greenfield

I asked for three slices- one with extra cheese. After he placed my slices in the oven I realized he didn't put the extra cheese like I requested. It was only then that he explained he didn't give extra toppings-- but it was only two weeks ago that I came and got the same thing! I took the 2 other slices off, only having 1 slice now and a drink I went to pay with my debit card and he explained that anything less than $10 would have to be cash. This would have been fine if there was a sign saying this. However, had he given me my 2 slices with extra cheese he would've generated more than $10 in revenue and I would've been able to use my card- we both would've been happy. To make matters worse, my pizza was burnt on the bottom. Never coming...

My son's sport team was playing in the area and it was our turn to buy dinner. I stopped into Roberto's and ordered 12 16" pizzas. The owner was great. I didn't give much notice and came back about 1.5hr later at the time I asked the ordered to be ready. When I arrived he was just taking the last few pizzas out of the oven. My son's team was happy and enjoyed the pizzas greatly. This place is pretty much just a take out pizza shop. Family owned and operated. Excellent NY-style pizza. We got by the slice, but if we got a whole pie, I’d request that they hold the oregano if possible — too much oregano in the sauce.

The crust was perfect. Thin with a nice crunch, and soft on the inside. We were so happy to find somewhere serving NY-style pizza instead of the New England Greek style that’s so popular around here.

The restaurant itself was very dingy - this is a takeout spot and not somewhere to sit down unless you need to. I don’t think there was even a bathroom — if there was, it’s in the back behind...
