Fat Dog's Grille & Pub — Restaurant in Greensboro

I visited this location for the first time yesterday. There was no greeting by anyone upon entering the restaurant. This is a huge no no to me. Normally I would have left, but decided to stay because my party wanted to eat here. Hospitality starts at the moment a customer enters the establishment. Continuing on the sports bar is very small and tight. This is not a big deal to me. Fast forward to the rest of the service.... The waitress did not state their name which would have been another no no for me but the person who I was with made a comment about that before stating what they wanted to drink. A name should be given to establish rapport and deliver that WOW factor to the paying customer. People don't want to immediately hear "What can I get you to drink?" Let's start with a name. Now, the food was on point! Well cooked and seasoned!! The waitress did ask the person that I was with how they wanted their burger to be cooked. Great job! There was so much to choose from and I could not decide. The prices for most things were okay, but the wings were too pricey and came with no fries or celery/carrots. The flats were $2 more for the first 8 wings I'm assuming. Despite the problems in the beginning I will be back. I believe the manager walked around a couple of times to ask if everything was ok. Great job! Lastly, there was nobody to say anything about thank you, come again etc. Also there was no bag given or offered for take out. I forgot to mention that you seat yourself upon entering. On Thursday September 17 2020 My coworker and I ordered food from Fat dogs in Greensboro. I ordered a burger with no mayo but put it to the side. I received my food and I was preparing to eat. I opened my side order of mayo and started spreading it on my bun. I hit something in the bottom my cup so picked up my spoon to retrieve it and there was a screw in my side order of mayo. I called the restaurant and the young lady took my information and said she was so sorry and was going to contact her manager because she did not know how to handle this situation. She called back and said for me contact the delivery company and I told her the delivery company did not have anything to do with the packing of the food. Today is Saturday September 19 2020 I have not received a call back from management. When eating out please check your food. I am disappointed in management on how they handled my issue.i never allow a restaurant to put mayo on my sandwich. I always get a side order because I do not eat everybody's mayo without tasting it. I have shared this information on my Facebook page and with yelp. I am in a leadership position and this is not food. Maybe I should contact someone else to come in and inspect this restaurant. My youngest daughter and I came here just from looking up places with chicken tenders. When we walked in I noticed it was more like a bar so since it was my first time I wasnt sure if kids could eat there too until I noticed other kids. When we sat down a lady came over and took our drink order and then came back to take my food order since I didnt know what I wanted at first. I went on and ordered my daughter's food since I knew what she wanted but I ordered the patty melt w/ extra crispy fries and the peper jack cheese pretzel bites. I know I dont have a picture of them but that is because they never came. I waited until I got the receipt and she didnt add them to my order. I didnt say anything because maybe I didnt really need them at the time because I was being a little greedy and I was hungry lol. That is one reason why its 3 stars instead of 5. The second reason is because after we got our food the lady that took our order and brought us our drinks never came back to the table.
