Placed an order from the spring garden location for delivery (cash upon delivery) I was WFH so when order was delivered I was in a rush so I didnât check order at door as usual, tipped driver opened food which was 2 Italian trio bowls and cheese sticks, well half of the order was missing for both of the bowls, it looked like they had been eaten out of, we have ordered the bowls in the past and know how they should look. I called the store and asked for the manager, was rudely transferred to â managerâ who was a female that was rude as all get out! And Iâm leaving a lot out about the phone experience bcuz itâs too much to type.I eventually asked her for her name bcuz I was tired of the going back and forth are listening to her sly remarks , and she repeatedly told me she donât have a name! I called another store and they gave me her General Managerâs number. I explained what happened he told me I can go get my money back bcuz as I explained to him I donât trust this establishment bcuz of the way the said manager and employees were handling my situation, ( being rude on the phone and laughing and giggling in the background) and I didnât want them to replace the bowls.I went the next day to pick up my money and the manager was there, I explained I was there to pick up money for an order that his GM told me to pick up, well he ( the manager) just went and picked up the envelope and handed it to me, no Iâm sorry for your experience or anything he just walked off. Not only was my order jacked up, but when I called to tell them and get some sort of resolution, the little girl who answered the phone, was anything but helpful. She asked me my name, I told her, she said can you say it again, I did. She still didn't understand so I said it and spelled it. All of a sudden, I was being hostile. She then left me on hold so long, I called from another phone. When she answered, and realized it was me, she put me back on hold. After about 10 minutes she comes back on and ask the same questions again. I told her I wanted a refund she said she could give me a order guarantee or something. I said a refund. She then said, I was just giving you options and put me back on hold. By this time, I had done packed the pizzas up to bring them back to the location. A man came to the phone and said he could give me the pizza guarantee because we had the pizza and the next time we order, we can get the same thing for free. I told him how rude and unprofessional the little girl was and that I was bringing the pizzas back.    Read moreThe pizza was okay. Nothing special. Extremely over priced. For two pizzas and an order of cheese sticks it was $50! I could've gone to a nice sit-down pizza place for that much. The cashier was surly. Not specifically rude, just surly and unfriendly. He was counting off money with a driver when I stepped up to the counter. I waited patiently, but he didn't even acknowledge my existence. Seems like he might've said "just a minute" or "be right with you"...something. When I inquired why my bill was so expensive, he rolled his eyes and rattled off the prices. The crazy thing is, there was a special for an $11 large Philly pizza but I was charged over $20 for an extra large. It seems like it might have been better customer service to point out that a large was on special...or just how about not charge $10 for a few extra inches of dough! I love Papa John's and don't get to eat it very often because my wife doesn't like it. She often jokes that she is "always right." I hate to admit it, but this time I'm gonna have to agree with her.
