Chemistry Nightclub — Restaurant in Greensboro

I went to this bar for my 21st birthday. I was still 20 until midnight. I initially walked in and they took my license, which I understand. I was in a small group. The lady told me I wasn’t allowed to leave because I was underaged. The event we bought tickets for was dinner with drag queens. We sit down to find out the food is a nasty food truck outside. Once again, the underage people could not leave. The lady in the front ended up letting us go get food. When arriving to the club, we all agreed we needed to use the restroom but we weren’t going to go to the pizza place next door but to the club and use the restroom. Immediately found that their bathrooms were portable bathrooms outside in below 30 degree weather. Up to this point, I haven’t even made it to the most ridiculous part. I was in a group of five. Three of us were underaged and we all were eating. One of the legal drinkers went to buy a drink and shot and she was rearranging the table and sat the shot in front of the underage people. The bartender immediately gets pissed and gets On his Walker talkie and tells the manager and other bartenders. They Ran back and forth across the bar DURING THE SHOW. Watching security footage. This went on for Atleast thirty minutes. Eventually a lady who worked there came to our table and asked to speak to three people. The underage girl the cup was placed in front of temporarily, her girlfriend, and the one who bought the shot. Take note, they accused them of underage drinking and they had videos of whatever they thought went down. Meanwhile, the shot was still on the table. The lady took the three of them outside to talk. But the one who bought the shot went to close her tab, and the worker babysat her at the counter. The girl then tried to go get her phone and the lady got stern like… i need you outside right now. They essentially told them that we were probably going to get banned if they saw anything. She talked to them like they’re children. They came back inside and the people continued to interrupt the show walking back and forth watching security footage. We watched the last performance and then went to leave. ONCE AGAIN the lady at the front has all the underage people’s licenses. We walk up and visibly see them watching security. Immediately has an attitude like ma’am I need my license. She asks me for the first letter of my Last name I tell her, she gets an attitude with me talking about am I sure? She then asked my first name and I politely said my first name and she had disorganized her drawer under my first initial. Next one of the girls that she accused of drinking gave her the last name initial for hers and she asked oh well who is it for? Like it matters…? She then gave her the full name so there was no confusion. She then gave attitude to the last girl trying to get her license. This event took place 11/25/2023 8-10 drag show. This place claims to be a safe space for lgbtq+, but this place is one of the least safe places I’ve felt personally. Don’t go here, we’re not the first to experience these...

Chemistry Night Club is the place to be for an exciting night out! I've been to my fair share of gay bars, but Chemistry truly stands out as a shining star in the nightlife scene.

One of the standout highlights of Chemistry is the incredible staff. They ALWAYS make me feel welcome, even when I get a bit rowdy. Not only does Jake, the bartender, have a smile that can light up the room, but he also knows how to mix a drink! Orange Tea Shots shots have come to be my favorite. Those little danger drinks are an absolute delight. Jake's skills behind the bar are truly unmatched, and he's always ready to craft the perfect drink.

The music at Chemistry is fantastic and has people dancing the night away. The DJ knows exactly how to keep the energy up, and the dance floor is always pulsing with excitement. The diverse range of music caters to everyone's taste, and you'll find yourself surrounded by people who just want to have a great time.

The staff at Chemistry are incredibly friendly and attentive. You feel well taken care of throughout your visit, and that level of service adds to the overall positive experience.

The layout and décor of the club are trendy and stylish, I love the back patio and all the new Halloween decorations inside!

January 2020 CHEMISTRY is still looking good and the employees are very nice. Had up 4 large Christmas Trees for the holidays and it looked fabulous! Good music but would like to see some older music with a heavy beat mixed in now and then. Gogo guys on Friday night and drag show on Saturday nights. Nice club!

10-19-19 Update. Chemistry Bar setup an extremely well done. Quick check in and excellent service! They have one indoor bar and one out door bar for smokers plus a very large fenced in patio with plenty of seating. Have now been going for about 4 months and I really enjoy the great mix of guys young and older. I can appreciate the hard work the owner and employees put into the bar every night. Friday nights they have gogo guys which is very popular. Saturday night is drag night and the place gets pretty packed. All the employees are extremely nice and work to make every night special. Everyone from employees to customers seem to have a great time! The club has a large well-lit parking area Chemistry is my to-go place now. 4 stars and going on 5!

April 2024 Looks better every time I go back. They had made some great looking wood chairs and placed them on the outside gathering area. They also made some other outdoor seating which was great. They are doing some remodeling of restroom. Once again, very friendly service at the front door and bars. My only disappointment is it has turned into mostly drag shows. I'm not really interested in a drag show on Friday or Saturday Nights. I personally would like to see some sexy MALE go-go-dancers. Even if you did a drag show then had Go-Go-Dancers on the bars in-between drag shows. It's...
