I have used this particular location for catering on many occasions and have always been happy with the outcome. In the past the customer service was 50%of the reason I chose them. That has changed. I called Wednesday to place a catering order for Thursday and the first person I spoke with was clueless on what to do. If I can place an order online, why doesn't an employee know how to do the same thing inside the store? Then I spoke with the manager and placed the order and was set to deliver the first of 3 orders at 11am. I arrived at the store at 1045 am thinking my order would be on the way out the door, but no, it wasn't even started yet. No problem. She says 15 minutes so I say I'll take it rather than wait for delivery. I paid and went to pick up another order from another business. I come back and the order is not ready and she's still the only one in the store and helping other customers. I didn't get my order until 1120. So imagine how much longer it would have taken to get it if I chose not to wait and instead allowed the delivery. The service was trash and I was scared about what to expect for my following two orders. To frequently go to an establishment and spend hundreds of dollars at a time and receive horrible service is unacceptable. No apologies or offers to make up for the issues were made. Read moreThis is the rudest and dirtiest fire house I’ve ever been in. The women didn’t speak to me the whole time I was ordering just stared at me… I asked for pickles on my COLD turkey sub she said they don’t have any cut up right now. I said okay then give me one on the side… I’m standing waiting and go to get ice and they have no ice in the machine so everyone was getting drinks without ice. I’m still then waiting and then I got closer to where sandwiches were being put out and this women asks if I’m door dash at this point i have been waiting 30 minutes for a take out order. I say no I’m waiting on two subs they were in that bag that had been sitting but no receipt is put out or is a name called. They were too busy with headphones in their ears to be bothered. I get my sub I check it and it’s a HOT Turkey sub with nothing but lettuce no pickles what so ever no condiments I asked for. The second sub was a New York steamer and there was the tiniest bit of cheese I’ve ever seen I didn’t even think any was on it. There was so much mayo it was ridiculous. Read moreFood is always excellent but service and wait times are disappointing. Even when store is not busy, I end up waiting on my orders much too long. My wife loves the subs but we tend to go elsewhere because of the slow service.
Update: it has been two months since we last ate at the Jefferson Village, firehouse and I left a review. I was hoping things had improved the two months since, however, that was not the case. This time we placed a pick up order, so we would not have to wait on our order as has been issue in the past. Online order scheduled to be ready at 10:20 AM so we even allowed extra time before going to the store. We still had to wait almost 20 minutes for order to be ready. But, to top things off, when we arrived home, we were missing one of the three subs that were part of the order. Obviously, we should’ve checked the order before we left the store, so lesson learned there. But this is an ongoing issue with the store, considering the slow service and errors with orders.
