This kickback jacks is one of my all-time favorite restaurants in the Triad. I have been coming to this sports bar and restaurant for almost 3 years now and have never been disappointed. The food has always been hot, served quickly, and correctly made ( even when I have special requests) and most of all everything I have tried has always been delicious. I do tend to get the same few things most times, but anytime I ask for suggestions the servers I have asked have been on point with their recommendations. I love the mushroom Swiss burger, New Orleans pasta with garlic toast, as well as the carnivore flatbread. The restrooms and overall restaurant are always clean, well stocked and maintained. have been there during major sporting events as well as quiet nights with only a few people and always have a great time and service. I typically sit at the bar so I can watch the TV and since I am usually alone I am not taking up a whole table or booth. Kristen who is one of the bartenders there frequently when I go in has been amazing. She is a great person with a huge heart who not only can keep the bar running smoothly but also has become a good friend and familiar face. A few times I have been in there at my lowest points and she has a knack for cheering me up and putting a smile on my face. People like her are rare in the service industry and a great asset to the company they work for. Kindness goes a long way in making repeat customers. I can't vouch for all of the other locations but this one is awesome. I've also posted a few photos of some of the meals I've had over the last few years. Highly recommend it here.

Best KBJ location. This is unfortunate to report, mainly because I dont live in Greensboro lol.... Every KBJ mgr should train here to learn what the brand environment should be and an executive should secret shop every other location, until they duplicate this experience. Food is better and the staff is good. Side note... Great mgr/bar tender experience, Lindsey, she is the only reason I came to KBJ. I had an increasingly bad image of this brand building over the years and she changed that for me. I can tell Management at large at this location actually connect with the other employees and it reflects in all areas. I would only suggest better food specials. Like a wing night or target your off peak hours/days with bar app half price menu. As I did notice hard dips in customer patronage from other restaurants around this area. Bathroom was suprisingly clean for customers volume. Drinks good. Food was great. Management A++ Now do something about your other spots. Start in fayetteville maybe...

Wings were delicious, but it stopped there. Salmon was so over cooked you could hear the fork tapping on it, it was dry as well. Mashed potatoes tasted like Idaho Spuds out of a box. Jalapeños on the burger tasted of burned grease. Told our waitress, she apologized but it went no farther than that. Asked if I wanted to speak to a manager, I asked what good it would do...apparently it wouldn't do any good as she never had a manager approach our table. Received the bill for the full meal though I returned mine after eating the broccoli, three bites of potatoes and two bites of salmon. Unfortunately, as I write this my stomach is even turning on me. Service was extremely slow, even with arriving at 5:45pm to a half empty restaurant. Great customer service would have had a manager over to address the food issues and atleast a 10% discount or voucher for us to come back. Like I said at the beginning the wings were good, but not sure I will come back for those.

Food: (had only appetizers) : good, flavorful, quickly prepared and served. The crab cakes and the spinach & artichoke dip were both very tasty.

Service: mostly OK. Server was cheerful and friendly, but woefully uneducated about the bar and the drinks available there. She attributed this to the fact that she isn't of drinking age. I attribute it to poor training by management.

Drinks: mine was horrible. The drink menu is very limited for those of us who don't like beer or wine, and even more severely limited for those of us who don't like Red Bull. I ordered something called an Orange Crush, which by title and description I expected to taste like oranges. Silly me. The clearish liquid presented to me tasted mostly of club soda. If there was actually any orange juice in it (as I believe the menu said it should contain), it had to be less than a teaspoon. I drank as much as I could stomach, then set it aside. One of my companions suggested that I tell the server I couldn't stand the drink and order another, believing that the first one would be removed from my bill. I told the server, and asked for a margarita (not on the menu). The drink I received was technically a margarita , obviously mixed straight out of a bottle of commercial margarita mix without benefit of any sort of orange liqueur. No salt on the rim, either, tho there was a lime wedge. It was - - and I'm trying to be generous here - mediocre, at best. On a more positive note, my companion said her martini, which she had to tell the server how to order, was quite good, so the bartender did get something right. Yay for that?

The bill came, and I saw that I was billed $7.99 for the undrinkable Orange Crush, and was also billed for the mediocre margarita (which I drank despite its mediocrity, and thus expected to pay for).

Fun Fact: Kickback Jack's writes themselves a license to serve lousy drinks with a little line of type at the bottom of the drink menu that says all alcohol sales are final.

Oddly enough, I'm not in the habit of committing menu contents to memory. The server didn't bother to mention that all alcohol sales are final when I told her how horrible the Orange Crush was, but she did let me know when I asked about the charge. To be fair, she offered to get a manager, but my companion had another commitment to get to and I just didn't feel like I had the time for hashing things out. I do have to wonder if the food menu also contains a bit of mice type at the bottom about all food sales being final. We had only appetizers and drinks, so I didn't browse the food menu--and I won't have the opportunity, because this was simultaneously my first and last visit to KJ. There are so many other options available where one can get a decent - - even a good--mixed drink and tasty appetizers that I can think of no reason to go back to KJ.

The moral of this story is this : read and remember the mice type on KJ menus, or you may find yourself paying for the...

I have been a fan of kickback jacks for about 8 years now, since moving to Greensboro. I used to frequent the battleground location until the highwoods blvd location opened. We come about once a month (my husband comes every week) but hadn’t been as a family in several months. We came in a couple weekends ago to celebrate a graduation for my nephew. We were a party of 16. our server, a younger blonde girl named Emily, completely ruined the entire experience for us. She was inattentive, unwelcoming, and seemed like she truly did not enjoy her job. she Rolled her eyes every time we asked for a refill on our drinks, or asked for anything extra like sauces (which we are aware we have to pay for). And she never smiled nor one time! It seemed like we were interrupting her own dinner experience that she was having with her coworkers (who equally seemed bothered by any customer’s request). Terrible service and completely opposite from the wonderful server we used to have last year named Sue. Where did she go by the way? My kids were looking forward to having her as our server as she always made the experience ten times better than we expected. We asked the hostess to be seated in Sue’s section but they said they couldn’t tell us anything about her except she no longer worked there. That is unfortunate because Sue could teach these new servers a thing or two about customer service. So sad how this place has gone down hill in only 8 months. Is someone new doing the hiring of the servers?? The quality of service and severs has definitely gone down. Perhaps someone different should be interviewing the servers for this location. My next step will be calling the corporate office to let them know about the quality of the servers they have. I will say the food is outstanding. The firecracker shrimp, Philly egg rolls, cranberry turkey flatbread, dry rub wings and spinach artichoke dip did not disappoint. Kudos to the kitchen staff because that is the only reason we stayed. We won’t be back until corporate office can reassure us that the quality of service and servers will go back to how it was last year. Maybe we will order take out if my kids insist but as stated before, Emily completely ruined it for us as well as the other servers who were chomping on their food and on their phones taking selfies while walking around the restaurant and approaching tables. (I think their manager (a 30 something ethnic woman) was sitting with them enjoying her dinner and on her phone as well while the restaurant was very busy!) We are very let down. Get it together Mr....

I went into this restaurant this afternoon and they had a large party in a separate room and my fiancĂ© and I felt as though we’d been put on the back burner. We’d ordered an appetizer of onion petals that was half a basket to start and added insult to injury by being half onion skins. I ordered the seafood platter and only one of my shrimp was completely peeled and deveined the rest had most of their shell and the legs still in tact. We got our bill and something wasn’t adding up when we checked our bank statement. I went back in to see what was up. We had not tipped well because our waitress was a bit abrasive and short, but we’d given her a few dollars. I was told that what we were charged for is what we had paid and that the previous transaction would come off our bank statement to be replaced with the proper one. I was still at a loss as to why our bank statement was so off base from our actual price. My fiancĂ© and I did the math adding 20% gratuity to our check and it was right down to the penny. It was just my fiancĂ© and myself, so I knew there was no automatic gratuity for our check. I called to speak to the same manager with whom I’d spoken to before but she was busy and I was handed off to another manager for whom I repeated the entire ordeal, he took my number and looked into it and the original manager with whom I originally spoke called me back and asked the problem and told me that it was strange, but that she would leave a note with the four o’clock manager because she was more familiar with the computer system than she was. I’m not sure how many managers I have to speak to about a fraudulent charge, but you can’t be so ignorant to believe that waiters/waitresses have not taken a tip they felt was fair without authorization before. Will provide update when the 4 o’clock manager calls, but I will not be returning to...
