I eat Ghassan’s at least once a week, either at the restaurant or via delivery to my office. (They even catered the rehearsal dinner for my wedding!) They recognize me and greet me by name when I enter. Until they changed up their system for taking orders recently, the main guy remembered my order from one visit to the next! It feels good to support a locally-owned, family-run business. It also feel good to have so many healthy choices! From the gluten-free tabouleh and falafel (made with quinoa), to the grilled chicken salad, to the chicken kabobs, you can come away feeling good about what you’ve eaten. (I know that their cheese steak sandwich is popular, too, but as someone who doesn’t eat beef, I can’t say.) They recently (summer 2018) went through a re-make of their menu, adding several new, delicious items, the chicken shawarma being my favorite with its flavorful chicken, delightfully garlicky sauce, and tart pickles — an incredible combination of flavors! The new fried cauliflower is not to be missed, either, bring pan-fried and not breaded and deep-fried. I’m so glad that we have Ghassan’s...
Read moreAfter driving in circles around Greensboro looking for my life…I came across this colorful interesting looking building and asked someone in the parking lot “Hey uhh how is that place?”. Their response was “Just go inside…”. Ok. Nuff said! After eating here I would say this…
If a polar bear stood in front of the doors of Ghassan’s and challenged me to a fight in order to be able to enter and eat. I’d say…you oughta call PETA because that bear is getting beaten to a pulp and I’d walk in happily wearing a Polar Bear Fur Coat. The food is that good.
I highly recommend the bowl and build it as you please. The staff was cheery and helpful because I am a big fan of spicy foods and always asking what they have to accommodate. They added the spicy hummus instead of plain and the combinations of textures and flavors I experienced caused me to look at the bowl in disbelief at what it was doing to me. The Zaatar fries are super bomb! Do that too!

Read moreBeen eating at this place for 25 + years. Never an issue till today placed mobile order, it said ready at 12:28. I arrived at 12:22 and checked in. . At 12;28 the curb lady saw me and said are you Byron, I replied yes. At 12:49 still no order, I called back told them still waiting on my food, told hold a sec, then got hung up on. Food finally arrives at 12:53. Start my drive home open my sandwich, it's barely warm.. Ok not a big issue, then i take a bite. Are you kidding me. My steak and cheese sub had NO flavor, plenty of grease, (no napkins guess they are extra) I have never gotten bad food from this place before, but today's SUCKED. Took one more bite just to confirm, it was the most tasteless sandwich I have ever ate. Hell Steakems would have beat it. Don't know what issue they got going on but somebody needs to fix it. I will try them again (1 more time) but if I get trash food like I did this time, I will never come back. They are 1 hour fifteen minutes from my house. So Yea getting decent food is a big deal. BTW my dog ate it an had no complaints, not everyday she gets...
