Had such high hopes when we walked in and saw the menu and all the variety. The problem became when the lady taking the orders at cash register blows her nose in a napkin right there then turns to prepare our bowls ( place rice and condiments in them). The only reason we didn’t ask for money back And leave then was because who I’m assuming is owner/manager takes over, thankfully, only because a customer walks in and the one who blew her nose WITHOUT washing hands at all had to take the order. She then continues to touch and wipe her nose! I understand one ignorant employee but to have someone else see this and not instruct their employees to wash their hands is beyond me! It really makes me question their sanitary practices behind the counter. I also have a problem with allowing children to run around a food service establishment where food is being prepared and cooked. If the manager or owner actually reads this and would like further information I would be more than...
Read moreI was desperately searching for food after my flight back into G-boro from Thanksgiving vacation. My iPhone map showed me two places open in my neighborhood at 10PM on a weeknight. I have been back several times and discovered they have their own chinese food menu too. Which is awesome because most chinese places in the South all use the same cruddy distributor for their frozen food. Taco Bao is a nice, affordable addition to the Glennwood neighborhood with vegetarian options. The college kids might not appreciate it, but for those of us who remember when there was only Beef Burger, it is a...

We tried bowls with the Thai chicken, which was small cuts of seasoned meat, and the Kari chicken, which was like tempura Chicken bites.
For the same price $8.50-$8.75, the bowls were definitely better values than the kimchee noodle bowl, which had egg and cheese, but no other protein and the noodles seemed like instant ramen. The "spicy Korean soup" that came with it was too spicy to drink and also seemed suspiciously like it came from instant ramen.
The tapioca boba in the bubble milk teas were too soft. Maybe they're better earlier in the day. The red bean milk tea was too sweet and...
