On Saturday, 1/21/23 at approximately 12:15pm EST, I placed an order at the drive-thru. The woman taking the orders was very cordial. Upon pulling up to the window I realized that I failed to request two legs instead of the leg/thigh. The woman at the window shared this with, I'm assuming them manager and she got upset and said, "it's already in the box." Mind you, I hadn't touched the food. I kindly asked that they exchange the thigh for a leg. I was told to pull around. Upon noticing that no one was behind me, I relayed that and said "no one is behind me." The manager screamed "I DON'T CARE! WE HAVE A TIMER!" To make matters worse, the woman who delivered the food was outside before I pulled around.
This is unacceptable customer service. The manager was more concerned about the time than good service. Now, she's being reported instead of simply making the changes requested. KFC prices are high and to be treated in a such a manner over something so small is unkind and completely unnecessary. If she did this to me, she's done it before and will continue unless addressed. Better training needs to occur or put managers in place who are prepared to model good behavior. The worst part is my son had to witness her reaction to a simple request. Read moreYesterday afternoon I stopped there to get two $5 meals. The chicken was not fresh. It was cold. The potato wedges and biscuits were hard. Apple turnovers were very soft on bottom like they were half cooked. When I took the food back, one of the guys acted like he didn't understand what was wrong with the food. I told him the order was not wrong; the food was not fresh. I told him that cold chicken is not good. They did give me fresh food on the second trip. I visited again on 8/26/22 between 7:45-7:54 pm. I walked in to place carry out order. I ordered 4 original wings fries and sweet tea. I was served by a black guy who is short in height dark complexion etc. He was doing drive thru at the time. I had been waiting a few minutes then he said Sir I will be with you in a minute. I didn't like the vibe that I got from him. I felt that he really didn't want to wait on me because in the past I have returned food that wasn't fresh and when I place order I express fervently that I want my food fresh vs something that has sat a long time. Read moreI ordered a 3 piece box meal on 8/10/23 at 8:30pm. Two thighs and a leg with coleslaw and cream potatoes and a drink which I had to give back because it wasn’t filled up correctly. It looked like I had already drank out of it. I ordered two of the same orders for myself and someone else. The only thing good about the meal was the sides. The chicken was horrible, the skin was not cooked and the chicken was old looking and dried out. I called the manager, and he said just come back, which I didn’t feel like doing so he agreed to replace my order the next day and when I went there the next day he acted like he didn’t remember me, so I showed him a picture of my food because the young lady at the window never gave me my receipt and had a bad attitude. He replaced one order of the food and the color of the chicken wasn’t as dark, but it was still nasty and greasy and uncooked. I am done with this KFC.
