Normally I write reviews about Waffle House that make it seem like a little slice of heaven, because usually it is, but that will tell you how exceptionally bad the food at this location was.
Typically I get the chicken and eggs with grits and wheat toast and it is almost always cooked to perfection. This location consistently left the chicken more fatty and greasy than any other of the dozens of Waffle House locations I've eaten at. The grilled chicken is so consistently lean, yet juicy and tender at every location except this one. My fiancé has ordered bacon, omelets, and hashbrowns over multiple visits, and every single time they are oily/greasy and nearly inedible because of it. I took an omelet of hers home as leftovers a month or two ago and I had to drain the take out container and apply pressure to the omelet multiple times to minimize the grease I was consuming. I’ve been to this location approximately six times this year alone with the same results. Upon arrival you will be greeted with a smile and enthusiastic welcome. If you’re dining in or ordering out, the service is quick and efficient. If you require additional condiments, no worries. They have a set up where you’re able to retrieve your own condiments as many as you like without additional charges. My overall impression is that it is a unique place for a non-hassle Breakfast,limited waiting, relatively good parking and an amazing staff.
