Noor Biryani — Restaurant in High Point

I recently had an extremely disappointing and concerning experience at Noor Biryani. My family and I visited this place thinking it was still under the same management as a few months ago when we had a great experience. Unfortunately, we didn’t realize the restaurant had changed ownership, and this time, things went horribly wrong.

Not only was the food quality terrible, resulting in food poisoning, but the customer service was equally appalling. The guy at the front desk was incredibly rude and lacked basic manners. He didn’t greet us, couldn’t communicate properly in English, and had no idea how to help us with suggestions. This kind of behavior is unacceptable for any restaurant.

I will be filing a formal complaint with the health department due to the serious health risks we faced. Please be aware and avoid this place until things improve. What was once a trusted spot has become a place I would never recommend. Stay...

We went here several times when it was named "Bawarchi Briyani". They served authentic dum biryani. However, perhaps the management is changed now and it's under the new name "Noor Biryani". The food now is just terrible. We ordered goat dum biryani, chicken lollipop, and chicken malai kebab. The chicken/goat was toooo hard and seemed to be cooked many days before. The colour of the goat meat in the Biryani was black and was too fibrous. The climax was reached when we tasted the malai kebab. I have never eaten such worse malai kebab before. Though We were hungry, We could not eat most of the food and had to take to-go (and thinking of some other way to salvage the food). We would never come back to Noor Biryani again. My wife and I stopped by here to eat looking for some Indian food in the area. The gentlemen working there as servers and host were very polite and courteous. For an appetizer. we ordered vegetable samosas, which were excellent. We ordered a vegetable biryani and curry, both of which were delicious. As the name of the restaurant implies, they have a large assortment of biryani to choose from, The restaurant was clean and well-decorated with a modern vibe.
