My wife and I have enjoyed many biscuits here. One day I ordered a sausage egg and cheese biscuit and a ham and egg with double ham. We drove to the pickup window and paid with my debit card (as I always do). Before I drove off with our food the nice young man at the window said ālet me see your card again ā. I thought he must have had some problems with the charge so I gave him my card again. Later that evening I noticed that I had been charged twice. The first charge being about 16.40 and a second charge of about 24 dollars. So I called the store and told the manager what had happened. She was familiar with the transaction as the cashier had told her of his mistake with the order. I was told ājust let the cashier know next time you come thru and weāll fix itā. Iām sure you can guess what happened some two weeks later when I informed the cashier of the problem. She didnāt know anything about it and asked me the date, the managers name, the amounts of the charges etc. I had not taken any notes nor did I record my conversation with the manager. Even though we enjoy the biscuits I donāt think i deserve to be double charged. Is this how a regular customer should be treated? Since I couldnāt answer the questions at the window concerning the transaction from two weeks prior I told the young girl to just forget it. I didnāt feel like being quizzed and she looked so suspicious of me I just paid and moved on with my day. But I donāt feel like I was done right here. What do you think. Sept 2023. After some time I received a call from the manager. She apologized for the mistake and refunded my money that same day. Although I am grateful I am not happy with the time it took to correct this. Perhaps 20 dollars means nothing to most of you but it represents a sum I can ill afford to give away. So. I resend my 5 stars given earlier and restart my evaluation with one star. As we enjoy their biscuits we will visit again. These visits should provide an opportunity to earn my five stars again....
Ā Ā Ā Read moreIt's Hit or Miss here. Sometimes the food is on point and outstanding when it's not great, it's the complete opposite end of the spectrum. I usually order a Sausage biscuit on a light biscuit (In the south, some prefer dark biscuits that have more browning/crust) I prefer the light biscuit as I have had oral surgeries on the roof of my mouth which gets raw when rougher food rubs on it. Sometimes they get me a light biscuit sometimes they don't. I fully understand that there are sometimes only "done" biscuits, but today I ordered my usual with egg as last time the egg was fluffy and great. I saw the cashier put the order in, added the light biscuit comment. My biscuit was darker than the dried-out sausage I received. The egg was half fried and half scrambled. It was 9:45AM so maybe they were the leftovers, but they should have some sort of Quality Control to keep it consistent, especially if you are the "King" of Biscuits. Service has been nothing but great here, I think the employees are usually happy and are very respectful so thats always pleasant. Atmosphere? Dining Room is nice, just need some detail cleaning. The bathroom was overall clean but no soap, and no paper towels. Kind of makes you wonder how the employees are washing their hands......Will I be back? Maybe....or Maybe just get a biscuit from Country BBQ right...
Ā Ā Ā Read moreI usually pull up to the drive thru, order pancakes and enjoy a delicious meal at home. For the past two years lthe pancakes at Biscuit King have been so good - perfectly brown, fluffy with a delicious homemade taste. Today they were burned. I wish i had taken a picture. When I took them back inside this time the young mam looked at them and said, "Oh wow they are burned!" The young man that took my drive thru order came over to see what happened and he said, "They gave her that!" which is just as good as a picture. I did not get a verbal acknowledgement from anyone. However, a young woman gave me a $5 coupon card and a new order of pancakes which are gummy. Service loke this should not be given to anyone whether it's a soup kitchen or paying restaurant. Whomever would cook something like that and box it up for a paying customer shpuld not have a job cooking for anyone or anything. This dissatisfying experience almost negates all of the other pleasant...
