Was suggested this place from a lady at cupcake cuties. She was trying us how good it was and that they had the live shows, so we had to check it out. We were not disappointed. Very nice atmosphere. When we walked in we kinda felt under dressed.... they have the entrance decorated with flowers and it looks so elegant. We arrived at opening 4pm. We were immediately seated and out drunk orders taken. Our waitress was Kayla. She done a great job taking order and refilling drinks and making sure we had everything we needed. We had a short wait as the wanted to make sure no one else came in to sit at the grill with us..... no one else showed so we had that whole grill to ourselves. There were only 2 grills going while we were there. Out chef was very funny n kept the kids engaged. They give very large portions so be prepared to get a to go box. Can easily make 2 meals out of each serving. (We did anyway) and we ate till We were stuffed at the restaurant. For 3 adult portions and 1 child portion it was 135 including tip. And we each got coke to drink. Over all everything was great. We hadn't been to a hibachi grill since pre covid so it was nice. Most hibachi places r take out only anymore so I'm glad they are back to doing shows at this location.

I took my teenagers last night and was so excited for them to experience a hibachi for the first time. It was okay, I really wish we had gone somewhere else though. The food was decent but the meat was overcooked. The chef was completely non-interactive, watched the people at the other tables the whole time and never said a word to any of us. He left for awhile too as the food just sat on the grill. When he came back he just cooked and threw the food on our plates. We were always served last and got less than everyone else. The waitress was super sweet and the place was clean but overall the restaurant is very lackluster and I regret spending $125 for 3 people to eat basic food and not have any sort of entertaining or interactive experience. The onion volcano was just a pile of onions on fire, it wasn’t a volcano at all, but still the most “entertaining”part of the dinner. By far my least favorite Japanese steakhouse experience unfortunately :(

Our favorite Japanese steakhouse is without a doubt Fire & Sticks, we come here for a special meal every now and then for great hibachi. Our go to order is the hibachi Filet and jumbo shrimp but my husband also get his with chicken. I love to add an order of mushrooms and sometimes broccoli. Their appetizer soup is so delicious and the salad is pretty good too. The chefs are so great at their job with so many cool tricks that they change up, our most recent chef was a sweet really funny old gentleman who had us laughing our whole meal. I recommend anyone and everyone to come here! It’s such a great restaurant and it’s also very pretty especially the little bridge you cross to get to the seating.

Hi! Just wanted to let the owner or someone in higher management know about a horrible experience I had at your restaurant this evening (3/15/18). My family and I arrived a little before 7pm to wait for a table. We had no reservation but were told we’d be seated within 30 minutes. After waiting an hour to finally be seated we were placed in the very back in the small room with 35 cheerleaders at the tables near us. We then waited an additional hour and 10 minutes. It was now 9pm and our chef has not made an appearance. We have 2 babies under 3 months and the cheerleaders in the room were, no exaggeration, screaming at the top of their lungs. As if they’d never seen fire before. We asked the manager if it would be possible to move tables. He came to us with no apology and said, “no, if I move you, you will be until 11:30 pm until you eat. And that means I’ll have to be here until midnight.” I also asked if he could politely ask the other table if they could refrain from screaming but the manager (Jason) offered no solution to our problem. We then told him sir we have already been here for 2 hrs+, will you please bring us our check for what we have had and we’ll be on our way. He walked away, still with no apology, and never returned. We took our time, got the babies in their car seats and began to walk to the front of the restaurant. The manager, Jason, was talking to other employees about us and not getting us our bill. We then stood at the front for another 5 minutes and no one came. We walked back in the dining room asking for our bill and he told us to wait. We said we needed to go and he told us, “that’s fine, I’ll just call the cops on you.”

2 hr + wait and no food is ridiculous. Putting us in the small room in the back with a screaming, large group while the entire front dining room was empty is inconsiderate. The manager is not a manager, nor was he even a man. It was pathetic how he spoke to us and had the nerve to complain about how late he’d have to be at work if he moved us.

Moral of this story, I will never be back and I will shout from the roof tops how absolutely horrendous this restaurant is. We paid $30 for sodas and 2 sushi rolls and never got our meal. It’s now after 9:30 pm and we all had to hit up chick fil a in order to eat supper.

Shout out to Chick fil a, you’re always the bomb. Should’ve gone to you in the...

Awful experience. Made reservations for 8PM 12/9/22 for 5 adults including my accountant and his wife. Arrived 15 minutes early with reception area full of patrons waiting to be seated, so not late. Seated at the same time as the table next to us and waited....At 9:20 PM our chef arrived at our table as the table next to us (that was seated at the same time as us) was FINISHING their meal. Our waitress said the restaurant was out of rice - the reason for the delay. The chef was a good natured person (not Asian FWIW) who spoke and joked mostly in American street slang. This detracted from any "Japanese Steakhouse" ambiance. He was apparently new or training and proceeded to prepare the meal for each of the 9 people at the table completely sequentially, not at least somewhat simultaneously as is usually the case. This resulted in my food being served over 1/2 hour earlier than my guests food - an awkward situation and of course my meal was cold from waiting. By this time, we were the only patrons left dining while the other restaurant staff milled about watching us and waiting for us to finish so they could leave (more awkwardness). After he finished cooking, the chef practiced some knife tricks he was trying to learn. No more than 10-15 minutes after our food had been served, the waitress, without anyone asking, brought "to go" boxes out for the entire table - again this was awkward, a clear sign they wanted us to hurry and leave. To be fair, on the plus side, the portions were generous. Not recommended. customer service so awful that the food...

They Burned Me, Literally...The food was good but the way the restaurant handled our incident was not how we expected. While the cook was preparing the grill, he did a "trick" where is ran his fingers through the fire and alcohol leaving them on fire for a short while to try and impress my daughter. It was a cool display until moments later I felt a stinging on my arm and noticed my sweater was on fire only inches away from my daughters hair. It must have happened when he was moving his fingers or flicking the flames out. I then had to smother the fire out on my arm getting the attention of the cook, wife and friends with us in our group. The cook stated, jokingly, he would give me a shirt to replace the one that now has a hole in it but that never happened. We then brought up the issue to the server who acted like she was going to see what can be done. After explaining they didn't have a way to reconcile my burnt arm and ruined sweater, they then gave me the check without offering to comp anything. We even asked for that to be the case since I have to spend my money to replace my sweater and take care of this scar I now have above my elbow. Luckily it was me who was burnt and not my daughter or this would have been handled a different way. I didn't want anything to happen to the cook because he was amazing despite what happened but this is something that should be taken care of on the spot and not brushed under the rug.

EDIT* The Manager did end up contacting me to amend things and I appreciate the time...
