Emailed management prior to leaving a review and never heard back after quite the disappointing experience here and it appears they do not manage or respond on Google. We made a reservation to be safe and arrived 30 minutes early. They were busy so weren't ready for us and that is completely fine, we had no issue waiting at the bar and having a couple drinks. We arrived at 7 for our 7:30 reservation and sat at the bar until a little after 8. Then I got an email saying our reservation was cancelled. I went to the host station where the employees we first spoke to were there and couple others. There was confusion as if they forgot about us and a waiter was complaining about us being sat and that they were out of glasses. Shortly after we got sat and a waiter later took our drink order. Then another waiter comes to take our drink order, and we let him know it had been taken already. Then there seemed to be a frustration that someone may have taken his table, and he started asking questions about who took our order. We then had the original waiter come back and continue to serve us. We ordered and continued our dining. Our food took a while and wasn't very warm. My baked potato was good although cool and the steak was mediocre. My companion had to salt his food quite a bit and said it wasn't very warm either. The Caesar salad was probably the best part of my meal honestly and was cool as it should be. Not sure I'd come back; the bartender was very nice and served us well when there. I was hoping to hear from management and seeing if things were different next time. I don't mind waiting or paying for quality however this wasn't a very good service experience, did cost and wasn't the best of quality as you'd expect from such a nice establishment. It also wasn't as if we just showed up either. As you can see in photos, we were there, and I have an email where our reservation was cancelled although the restaurant had cleared out and had room for us. No one came up to talk to us. The young hostess wasn't the most helpful or pleasant, she may have had a bad day otherwise working at the front end of a business may...
Read moreOverall we did not have a good experience. Part of that being no fault of the restaurants. It's Market weekend but also homecoming weekend.. extremely busy. In addition to that a national shortage of employees. That's a bad combination. However the other part was due to our meals. There were 3 of us. I got the crab and corn soup as an app. And the filet, cooked medium, for my meal. My father got the steak salad for his meal, no app. And my mother got a salad with a bowl of soup as her meal. The waitress brought out my soup and my mother's soup and salad first. So at this point my mother's meal was served as an app so she wouldn't get to eat her meal with us. Unfortunately, the soup was stone cold. Not even a hint of warm. I ate mine anyway and my mother sent hers back and asked it be heated. Next, the waitress returned with a new bowl of soup and said "I added some water. Should be warmer" it was barely warm at this point. Cold soup + a splash of Luke warm water does not equal hot soup. So at this point my mom just sent the soup back and asked that hot fresh soup be brought with the rest of the meal. The waitress returns with my dad's salad and my steak, says her soup will be right out. 25 minutes later, while my dad is done is salad and I've eaten what I can from my steak, the manager, Travis, returns with my mom's soup, sees that my dad is finished and my steak is pushed to the side. He immediately apologized for the delay and asks about my meal. I say that it was very undercooked but I ate what I could from it. He takes a peak at my steak and jokes that he can "grab the defibrillator and revive it put back" it was clearly raw and he was able to ease our moods with the joke. We all thought it was hilarious. My mother ended up finishing our soup, Travis stopped by to apologize again and we left.
Food: cold and raw meals (good flavor though) Service: short staffed (understandably), lousy waitress responses to issues, and great manager.
Photo is of my Medium cooked steak! So raw it was...
Read moreYikes, this place left a ton to be desired.
Food was ordered to-go, and the first issue noticed was that they provide extremely flimsy plasticware. You know what I’m talking about. For a steakhouse, imagine trying to eat a steak or chicken with flimsy silverware. For the prices they charge, they could at minimum provide sturdier utensils. Even much cheaper restaurants will provide that.
Second, most if not all the food is premade or frozen.
Onion rings taste exactly like the frozen kind you get at Walmart.
The chicken tenders are $15 and you get 3 measly looking tenders hardly bigger than a chicken nugget.
The grilled chicken entrees are so dry and so tough that you literally can’t bite through the exterior from how old/dry it is.
I will give credit to the sweet potato mash as it was actually pretty tasty.
Lastly, the bread pudding is terrible. The inside is completely dry with zero flavor, and it tastes exactly like a prepackaged angel food cake. This can’t be made in house as any other bread pudding I’ve ever had was actually flavorful, moist, and decadent throughout the entire bread.
Another gripe is that the restaurant is knowingly practicing fraudulent business practices. Their online menu does not mention anywhere that they will increase all menu prices by 3% if you pay by credit card. Their online menu prices are NOT what you will actually be charged if you use card. Most businesses have to explicitly state this surcharge both on physical and digital menus. The fact that they don’t do that here is really misleading and not a business to support. And then on top of that they have the gall to calculate tip percentages on the surcharge price. So if you pay with card, your tip they calculate is also inflated.
I don’t recommend coming here if you’re looking for quality food by an...
