My family and I had an attractions coupon and were excited to try! Unfortunately, they would not honor the coupon/said they were unable, so we paid full price for our food. We waited what felt like a long time for a relatively small order (about 30 minutes for two kids meals, a bowl of soup, and a chicken gyro). No problem—I understand that times are tough and sometimes places get busy.
By this time we were late for our older son’s game, so we took our dine in order to the car. My husband handed me my soup, which promptly spilled all over my legs because the lid was set on top rather than snapped in place.
I was in a lot of pain and actually burned bad enough to blister. When I went into the restaurant to throw everything away, I received a cursory, “we have a customer with a complaint!” from the employee working, and the manager just said “I’m sorry” when I explained what happened. There was no offer to grab water or a first aid kit. There was no sincerity about trying to make it right or comping us for at least the soup. Just a complete disregard for the customer and honestly a lack of human decency.
We certainly will not be returning, and I would encourage others to spend their hard earned money elsewhere.
As far as the food, my husband said his pita was just ok. I had to throw the soup away, so who knows if it was good? The whole experience left a lot to be desired.
Update: the third picture is over two weeks out. I had mostly second degree burns and one third degree burn area. Still no acknowledgment or apology from the owner or management at...
Read moreI have always loved me some Pita Delite but my last visit has me second guessing. First, the cleanliness of the dining area was not up to par. Cobwebs and dead bugs in every booth we tried to sit and lots of flies flying around while trying to land on your food while trying to eat. Secondly, the Camille salad has always been my go-to order. It used to come with skewers of chicken, however it came with chopped chicken that was not equivalent to a skewer and it did not taste fresh. My guess is it was leftover chicken and they are trying to skimp on portions by not giving you actual chunks of chicken. Salad was served in the small to-go styrofoam container. $8 for the quantity and quality of ingredients was not worth it in my opinion. Iceberg lettuce and ~ 2 small chunks of chopped chicken. Dressing also lacked flavor with very little of the usual spices and herbs. Finally, and I wouldn't even mention if the food and service were on point, but the flow from the register to then go get your drink is not ideal. After you leave the register, you then have to turn and walk through all of the people waiting in line to order to get to the drink station and everybody thinks you are cutting in line but you are just trying to get to the...
Read moreIt's hard to find good Mediterranean food, so when somebody mentioned that there was a place to get falafel nearby I jumped at the chance. I expected the tough supermarket type of pita bread that I was used to, but the pita here is shockingly pillow soft and very pleasant. The falafel weren't hard fried spheres like I'm used to, they were more crumbled up and used as an ingredient in the sandwich rather than a focus. I got the falafel pita and there is definitely a strong taste of the vinegar olivey taste throughout, so have them leave off the olives if you're not into that (I am!)
I opted for fried onion petals for a buck extra and I'm glad I did because they were really really really good too!
honestly there was like nine people in line when I got there, which speaks for itself as to the popularity of this place, so the fact that they also have like a 97/98 health rating and the kitchen was absolutely immaculate when I peeked through the open door getting my soda... That says a lot about a place, and it's all good. Like another reviewer commented, the guy behind the register was super friendly and made me feel welcomed right away, even in the height of...
