I probably wonāt be back. I ordered the Momo with the tikka masala sauce on top. I believe it came with 8 or 10 of them and I only ate 1 1/2 of them. I personally just didnāt like it, there was nothing wrong with the food I just didnāt like it. I told the server and she offered to get me something else with a discount to my ticket. I assumed that I would only be charged for one meal if she was replacing the meal I didnāt like. I was wrong. I got charged for two meals, one of which I barely touched and didnāt like. She charged my card before I had a chance to look at the receipt, and when I asked her about it, she said I still ordered the food, there was nothing wrong with the food and therefore thatās why they charged me for both. I didnāt want argue, I was already not happy after not enjoying my food, having the servers openly talk about me to the kitchen where I can hear them, while having the staff staring at me, making me very uncomfortable, so I just signed the receipt and left. I wonāt be back, I feel overcharged, I also have worked in restaurants for years and never doubled charged a customer ever in this kinda situation. However that was at big corporate restaurants vs a ma and pop shop so I can see how things maybe different but I definitely wonāt return. My replacement meal was a sandwich with French fries which was very...
Ā Ā Ā Read moreI picked up an order today. Did not get the sweet potatoās fries. I got regular fries. Didnāt get my drink. I parked a bit far away, so I called once I noticed. Called them, spoke to a young girl.Explained I didnāt get the right fries and no drink. She asked, are you sore cuz I remember making it. I said no maāam. Look around there because I did not get it. Then I hit record. She then yells, , I donāt know what to tell you you lady, I gave it to you. She yelled this! I asked to speak to the owner, she said they arenāt here. I then asked to speak to a manager and she said, I already told you no one is here. I asked to speak to the manager that was there and she said no. She then yells, my gawd and throws the phone down. I know because I heard it hit something. I stayed on the phone silently then she hung up. I called back, a man answered. He said he was standing beside her and heard the conversation. He apologized for the drink. I told him the drink is no longer the problem. The attitude of that girl is. Itold she will ruin your business talking to people like that. He said, I understand, I will take care of that. I will not go back and will not recommend. Hate this for a small business as a business owner myself. I have zero tolerance for rude, disrespectful customer service. Such a shame Iāve heard great things...
Ā Ā Ā Read moreBased on recommendations, six of us ate at Brothers Cafe with high expectations last Sunday. It may have been start-up issues, but we were not impressed. The Mo:Mo was interesting and tasty, but I'm not sure I would order it again. The salmon was overcooked and dry, though the asparagus was cooked just right, still firm, not mushy. The chicken strips were overcooked and dry. The hamburger was unimpressive. The one bright spot was the patty melt, which was described as better than Snuffer's or Freddy's, which have always been his favorites. The server got several things wrong, forgot some instructions, etc. She was nice, and she was attentive, but she had to be reminded about things ordered and not received. Though there are padded seats in some places, the chairs we sat on were quite uncomfortable. On the positive side, the place was clean, the manager welcomed us and checked in with uis, and the food came out in a reasonable time, neither slow nor fast. The Forum is a neat place that everyone should check out, so the atmosphere was quite pleasant and unique. The jury is still out on whether we will return to Brothers. We may give them a few weeks to eliminate the start-up issues and then reconsider...or try a different day and crew. It feels like it has all the right...
