Went into the new location last week, excited to see the update, and was very disappointed. The food was good and pretty fast (I came in later at night, around 7pm after supper rush), but the store was a mess.
Tables towards the front entrance (facing the road) had obviously had a large group with several young children at some point, as there were food crumbs all over the tables, floor, chairs, and booth seats, with also dirty high chairs shoved back against adjacent tables and a pack of table wipes sitting openly on the booth. Several other tables around the restaurant were also dirty with food trash and trays still sitting on them. Customers were pretty much sitting at any clean table that could be found, which weren't many.
The ladies' room was out of toilet paper and had no paper towels, and when my dining partner stood at the end of the counter where the mobile pickup kiosk was, she was ignored for a solid minute, even when an employee came over to the computer screen right in front of her. Employee didn't even look up, let alone greet or help her. Three of the four trashcans in the condiment bars were overflowing. Probably at least 8 staff members behind the front line too, with two people around drive through area, two people on registers, another person helping fill food orders on trays and bags, and then the rest of the staff were just wandering back and forth helping with small tasks only when directly asked by other employees but mostly standing and talking to each other. Employees that ran food to the tables in the sitting area (three different people) completely ignored the trash and uncleanliness for the thirty minutes my partner and I were there.
Very unimpressed with staff even if the food tasted fine. If the customer area was that dirty, I can't imagine what the back kitchen looked like. I work in food service myself and know the difficulties of keeping up with serving customers and cleaning up after them, especially when short-staffed, but short staffing was definitely not...

Indeed this is a "flagship" restaurant with excellent Chick-fil-A service and food quality, but the building design is just awful. The second drive-thru window was a great idea, but two major problems take away from my dining experience at this restaurant.
The main frustration I have is with the drive-thru. Clearly there was a major lack of planning when the place was built, as the line to the drive-thru is a funky, mangled, and confusing mess. It is better now with a little traffic guidance via striping and some signage, but it's still an issue that I don't foresee being fixed without major changes.
The second issue is also related to the drive-thru, but in terms of the impact it has on the inside. A conveyor system is used to transfer orders from the main building to the second drive-thru window. It is a great idea in theory, but obviously nobody considered how LOUD it would be in execution. The system that they use, while effective, is distracting when dining in the restaurant. I wish something could be done to lessen the commotion that can be heard throughout the building.
Overall, it's a decent Chick-fil-A. It's an average Chick-fil-A that has good, consistent food and service quality. The restaurant itself is just so annoying that I rate...
Read moreI work at Toyota of Greenville, for the past few months, i stop at this location EVERYDAY before I go to work, the 1st couple of weeks, the service was fast and my food was correct, but for the past month, my food has been wrong 2-4 days out of a week. I called and spoke with a team lead on Tuesday, got a free meal on yesterday just to go back this morning and my order is wrong and I know what everybody is thinking, "I should check the bag" but who wants to hold up a line checking food that is suppose to be checked multiple times before being handed to the customer and I use to work for a chick fil a chain and we checked our bags 3 times before going out the window!
I always order.... Plain butter biscuit with egg whites and colby jack cheese hash brown lemonade
Simple right?
It's the simplest order that gets messed up with either a chicken filet being added on or putting a regular egg on my biscuit or putting the egg white and forgetting the cheese, I just can't anymore, this morning did it for me, MY ORDER WAS WRONG AGAIN THIS MORNING, and I won't be returning to this store again!
