Glenda's Cafe & Catering — Restaurant in Greenville

Closes early, but if you can get yourself over there while they are open you are in for a treat! I don't think I've ever had fried chicken this good. I can't seem to get anything else because it is just so good. The chicken fried chicken plate can come with three sides! They don't hold back either. All for less than ten bucks. Glenda came to our table to welcome us and see how we liked the food. She's super nice, along with the rest of the staff. The next time we came in they remembered us and welcomed us back. There is a little patio and the whole place is decked out in retro Coca-Cola things. I just love it! Definitely one of my favorite restaurants out here...

Disappointed. We drove here from out of town because we discovered this place a few weeks ago & loved what we ordered as a first time guest. Very excited to get to come back. Online shows them to be open, but when we get here, they have a sign that reads "we will be closed still on Saturdays due to being short staffed..." Very disappointed that we didn't get to experience the amazing food again and that the hours online weren't modified or message placed that they were going to be closed. I wish them well. Hopefully things will get better soon and staffing situations everywhere will improve. Would love to try...

It's very cozy, if you want the southern homestyle hole in the wall restaurant experience this is definitely a place to try. They were kind enough to make my husbands breakfast at 11:00, and my chicken fried steak was delicious. The mash potatoes were on the thick side and seemed like instant. They offer hot black tea which was a big plus for me. I definitely want to come back and try the pancakes, husband said they were amazing. However he suggested they might get some different flavors of syrup as the option they had didn't have much flavor...
