I donât recommend going here unless you have friends to entertain you and lots of time on your hands. I waited around 30 - 40 minutes for the one boba tea I ordered. I wish the cashier had at least warned me I would be waiting so long.
I did not feel that it was completely the staffâs fault. The employee I spoke with was on register and also the only person making drinks and she could not keep up. However even though she was far behind, when I went to ask her how much longer my wait would be, she was on her phone texting a friend instead of doing either job. She did apologize when I finally did get my drink.
What upset me the most was that the owners seemed to be there, but were hanging out in their office most of the time, occasionally walked out to look around, but did not lift a finger to help their struggling staff. They should have jumped in to help before letting customers wait that long. Iâve worked in customer service for years and am so thankful that Iâve had bosses who would start helping immediately if we began falling behind.
The tea itself was mediocre, definitely not worth the wait. I was excited for a boba tea place so close to where I work, but I will...
Read moreYesterday, my mother and I tried this place for the first time. I'll say, we've been anticipating the opening since last year, and we were not disappointed.
We ordered 2 rolled icecreams (the Mango Tango and the Bang Bang). Both were delicious and you can alternate the toppings if you wish.
We also ordered 3 fruit teas (Paradise, Greenland, and Summer Daze). These can also be edited to your liking, including your choice of boba. The Greenland is probably my favorite for it is refreshing and smooth, like you're actually sitting down and having a glass of freshly brewed tea.
The inside is somewhat bare but elegant at the same time (simple is better, I've always been told) đ. The gentleman who I assume is the owner, is very considerate and open to feedback. I was very happy to see someone who practices customer service so well and take pride in their job.
All in all- I will be coming back (try a milk tea this time too). I'm very happy to see a place like this is Greenville and to also see them put to shame a few other rolled icecream places...
Read moreThis is seriously the BEST bubble tea in town (and I've tried them all)!!! I come here an embarrassing amount but I can't keep away, their milk tea is so outrageously delicious! My favorites so far have been the royal penguin (sweet, smooth, and strong caffeine) and purple haze (pure sweet and mellow tastiness). I'll be honest, I haven't tried many others on the menu yet because those two are so good. They have oat and almond milk for my fellow lactose intolerant people, though I recommend choosing oat milk to keep the creaminess. They have a point system instead of a punch card for frequent buyers, you just click "sign up" on the screen after you pay and it'll automatically count your purchases going forward without you having to click anything else. I was recently in Japan and Korea, and GOGO Creamery is better than any boba I had over there. If you love bubble tea like I do, you HAVE to...
