I’ve been a cava customer for almost 3 years, it’s always a pleasant experience with a friendly staff and service until today. I came to this location today 9/12 at around 7:45 pm and my experience was good until my bowl was shanked to the second worker that serves the protein and the rest of the toppings. After she served my protein and started asking for my topping, she had an attitude with her words and her body language. As she is finishing my bowl I ask if I can have some extra lettuce and I could tell this made her upset. Once I’m checking out she tells me the total and to tap when ready, I then told her that I wanted to put my phone number in for rewards (she didn’t ask me if I was a rewards member). She typed in with an attitude and then asked rudely to say the number again. Finally she never told me I was good to go until I asked if it went through because neither her or the screen told me. She rudely asked if I needed a bag and I said that I was okay then she walked away physically pissed off saying “good one”. As someone that works in restaurants I can tell she was mad from the moment I asked her provide me with extra of what I asked for. this is the worst customer service I’ve ever had at this establishment, it’s always a friendly welcoming staff but not this girl and her attitude that I hope she can take somewhere else or get it...
Read moreI have been to this location 3 times now just to make sure they aren't just having a rough day before writing this review. Food here is GREAT, although portions are very inconsistent. SERVICE however is very poor. Employees look miserable to be there, and they have zero sense of urgency. All I can say is don't be in a hurry to be anywhere when you go here. All 3 times I have been I have not even been acknowledged at the counter for at least a few minutes when the restaurant is not even busy! They also only have one employee working the whole line, so it takes forever to move through the line. Lots of employees working at any given time though, so I'm really not sure what they're thinking by only having one employee work the line from start of your food all the way to check out. Seems to me they need to take some notes from similar restaurants like Chipotle, who has at least 2 or 3 employees working the line at any given time. All I can say is...DO BETTER or you will see the customers dwindle with the poor service. The only reason I am not giving a 1 star review is because the food is tasty. At least they have that...

I placed an order online and came in to pick up my order. According to this little girl working on Saturday, Aug 5, 2023, when I came in after 5 p.m., but before 530pm, people have been "stealing" orders and she wanted to verify that I was who I said I was. I don't know how many people coincidentally go pick up an online order and guess the exact name on the order. What are the chances... I digress.
If, though, you ask me to show you my order confirmation, then be ready and able to show me how to pull the info up, considering I don't even eat here. How would they know if I even ate there before... well, be kind and welcoming. Ask if you have to.
