So disappointed!!! I’ve been going to Longhorn in Greenville NC for 15+ years and have always had great service and food, but not this time. Our waiter was very new and understandable didn’t know the beer selection…. No biggie. The only bottle beer they had was the same beer on tap…. Husband settled for a corona that was warm and which also turned out to be light beer. Oh yeah I’m still waiting for my margarita that I ordered before my husband figured out what beer he was going to drink. Margarita finally arrives (long pour) with my drink in the shaker and an empty margarita glass.. no salt, no ice, just empty. I go to the bar where after several minutes of waiting on the bartender to turn around as she triple check the to go orders, another gentleman comes out and I said “I’m sorry to bother you but isn’t a Margarita suppose to come with ice and a salt rim? he responded sorry it’s your servers first day I said it’s fine he walked off and returned with my glass with ice and 2 lime slices no salt rim and looks at me and says would you like me to pour it for you too? REALLY??? I just walked away. Food arrives I ordered the 6oz filet and received a 6oz ribeye I told the waiter I don’t believe this is a filet the chef returned with my plate and preceded to tell me it was a filet and that he would get me a better cut I said it wasn’t necessary. The bill came out and they did not charge us for my filet which was very gracious of them so thank you, much appreciated, you did the right thing. I understand we are all having supply chain issues but when your meat is delivered and is unsatisfactory don’t accept delivery, just kindly let your patrons know there is no filet, don’t try and pass off some other cut of beef, as a $25 filet. Read moreI went there around 2 pm and they weren't busy. I got a table right away but not service. I waited about 5 minutes before I met him, and he didn't introduce himself to me. He asked me if I wanted to start off with something to drink. I told him which alcoholic beverage I wanted. He said may I see your ID please and I said sure. I mean, I looked like a college student, so I didn't mind...lol. Anyway, I got my drink and ordered 2 appetizers. Halfway through my appetizers, he asked if I was going to order anything else or if the appetizers were enough. I told him I wanted parmesan chicken, crispy brussel sprouts, and a sweet potato to go along with some containers for my appetizers. He said ok then when he brought the containers he also brought the check and said I'll leave this right here for you when you're ready. I looked to see how much it was and proceeded to put my food into the containers. I got a call, and while I'm on that call, he dropped off my to go order and asked if the check was ready. I said no, not yet. I got the check ready because he was at the host area, which was behind me. I turned around and said, "Excuse me, here you go." I waited for him to come back with my receipt, and I saw him turn around to see where I was. He came back handing me everything saying thank you, and your change is inside. I said all I need is the receipt the rest is for you. He said oh thank you so. His service sucked because he wasn't friendly, attentive, or welcoming. Read moreIt pains me not to give five stars because the manager and the server Abigail ❤️ saved face. They were outstanding and sweet. The male server I had was absolutely horrible. As he approached my family and myself with a stale face I didn’t take offense because everyone deserves to have a bad day. We ordered our drinks and food immediately. The server brought my family’s drinks and forgot my Moscow mule from the bar as he repeatedly checked on other tables. My wife approached Abigail at the bar and she found my drink sitting on the bar and brought it to us. He seemingly in-genuinely apologized. As I watched him check on and refill other tables the manager approached and asked how we were and SHE brought out our drinks as he attempted to take over and she declined. From there we may have had 2 conversations with him. Once to order and the second time after he seen the manager and Abigail tending to us. No thanks. I made SURE not to tip him but to tip Abigail and the manager. Just sad.
