We usually love to eat at Marco's that has been a fixture in our house for over a year when it comes to dinner time. However because of a recent move we ordered from a closer location to our new residence. The excitement of sitting down in front of the TV with a familiar dinner from a familiar restaurant soon faded when we open the box. We were first taken back by the pizza itself having to be eaten by a fork because it was so greasy flimsy and just plain out gross. It doesn't stop there In fact it followed us all the way to the bathroom where we were both sick my girlfriend and I. it lasted throughout the evening then into the night also the following night. My girlfriend wanted to call and tell the location of our experience I urged her that let's just not go back there. However once I got to work and felt like I hadn't before after eating a Marco's Pizza I decided to call her and give her the okay to discuss this with the branch manager. So this evening she reached out to the branch manager to communicate our experience to him and hopes that they could better themselves and improve for the future. That's not the case The manager Corey decided to take a defensive position in regards to our story. He gave my girlfriend no remorse nor understanding for what we had been through. I can assure you nor myself my girlfriend or anybody that I come in contact with will want to eat from this restaurant. Choose your Marcos...
Read moreYeah... When i lived on this side of town, i ordered from Marcos all the time because i love their food and its a good deal. Yesterday i found myself working at a different location for my job, and theyre in the delivery area. I got a couple of sandwiches and a salad, figuring id take some home later.
Now, i put the correct address in the website. There is a suite number, but no spot for it on the website, so i made sure i put the name of my company in every box i could find. A hour goes by, no sign of my food, but the tracker says delivered. I call the restaurant and they tell me that the driver went to my store, asked for me, and was informed that i wasnt working there today and didnt know where i was.
Uh, thats totally impossible because not only was i most certainly at work that day, i was the only one there. On a hunch, i called the branch that is closest to the restaurant (its practically next door) and sure enough, that was the one they went to. The driver didn't even bother to verify the address or call me! The manager said they'd remake it but o heard then ask if my food was still in the store and the salad was sweaty and sandwiches cold and soggy when they got to me, so i know they werent remade. And they made me pay for it! Never in my life has a restaurant made such an egregious error that was not my fault and then made me pay full price for food they didnt even remake. Whoever is in...
Read moreThis Was our favorite spot for delivery, however, after yesterday they have lost our business. Placed an order in the app at 414 for a small pizza and calzone. Asked for a delivery time of 540pm. 555pm rolls around-no pizza and the app still says order is being processed. Call in to the store and the 1st staff member ( who was very polite) says my order is ready but still there. I inform her that it was placed at 414 and due for delivery at 540 and she says oo let me get a manager. Manager gets on the phone, extremely rude, and says your order came in at 510 and its a 1.5hr delivery wait because we are short staffed. So I shouldn't expect my ALREADY MADE pizza until after 730. I inform her that no where on the app nor confirmation email does it mention anything about an extended wait time and that someone could've at least called me to ask if I still wanted to continue with my order. I finally just asked for a refund, which she obliged and then hung up.
I understand staffing issues and extended wait times but placing an order that I wouldnt get for over 3 hrs and then to find out that it would've been sitting for over 2 hrs is absolutely ridiculous! Customer service goes along way when you're struggling and the least someone could've done was called (as they've done before) and not been rude once confronted about...
