We go to Harry’s Hoagie Shoppe all the time which is right next to Scouts. It's always so busy we figured we'd check it out while we waited for Harry's to open. First off it's a very pleasant place to visit inside. The young ladies working there were very nice and pleasant to deal with. Service was a 5 star for sure. The negative. The doughnuts are just ok to me. I got a morning bun and the wife got a coffee butter cream. The morning bun was pretty tasteless, needed way more icing because that was the only flavor on the whole thing. Her doughnut was the same, the buttercream frosting was good, but the doughnut was lacking. This was my first "cro-nut" which I know is the craze now. Maybe at 44 I'm just too old to get it, but I'm not impressed. This was a one and done for me. They are crazy popular and I'm ok with that, it's just not my thing.

These are the best Doughnuts hands down in Greenville SC

Ryland and JP (the owners) have poured their heart and soul into Scouts and it shows! From their friendly and enthusiastic staff to every beautiful little detail on their doughnuts…Scouts is hands down the best doughnut you will find in Greenville. The cookies and cream and cinnamon sugar are my personal favorites, but you really won’t be disappointed with any of their flavors. Also, when you buy doughnuts from Scouts, not only will you get the best doughnut you’ve had in Greenville, but you will be supporting small business owners who deeply love the city of Greenville and are committed to its flourishing. Ryland and JP are pillars in the community and you won’t find a more respectable couple that wants to do right for their customers and for their city. Go get yourself a doughnut from Scouts and thank me later!

A delightful treat I recently had the pleasure of trying the donuts from Scout's Donuts, and I must say, it was an unforgettable experience! These innovative pastries are the perfect blend of two beloved treats, and they certainly did not disappoint.

Upon taking my first bite, I was immediately struck by the flaky, buttery texture of the croissant layered with the sweetness of a donut. The combination creates a delightful contrast that is both indulgent and satisfying. The croissant donut is light yet rich, with just the right amount of sweetness to keep you coming back for more.

Scout's Donuts offers a variety of flavors, each one more enticing than the last. I purchased for family back in NYC, we tried the chocolate glazed ,the butter cream -filled options, & the salted caramel and all 3 were absolutely divine. The glaze was perfectly balanced—not overly sweet—and the butter cream was rich and creamy without being overwhelming. I also loved how each donut was beautifully crafted, showcasing the attention to detail that Scout's Donuts is known for.

Another highlight was the welcoming atmosphere of the shop. The staff were friendly and eager to share their recommendations, which made the experience all the more enjoyable. It’s clear that they take pride in their creations and genuinely care about their customers.

In conclusion, if you’re looking for a unique and delicious treat, I highly recommend trying the croissant donuts from Scout's Donuts. They’re a delightful fusion of flavors and textures that will satisfy any sweet tooth. Whether you’re a fan of croissants, donuts, or both, you’re in for a real treat! I can’t wait to go back and try...

Best Donuts ever. Pricy but worth every bite. I would highly recommend this place. Great Donuts. No changes to this review except I went there again. It's an addiction. Someone HELP me!!!! Oh nevermind!!! You can get a donuts for under $6. But too many to choose from. So half dozen is just right. A dozen if you want to share. Lol. Can you all put one in Powdersville???? Please!!!! Ok so here's another edit. Greenville wake up!!! THIS IS THE SUPREME DONUT PLACE. BAR NONE. No its not a DONUT. It's a French pastry , called a DONUT. I have been to France,so I know what I'm saying is true. Scouts Doughnut would make a French bakery so jealous!!! This is an awesome, amazing, delicious pastry with a hoe in the middle. You will not be disappointed. So I must say.....If you haven't been here you don't know what a French pastry is. The different flavors r out of this world....it's been awhile since my last visit. They are removing the Boston Cream doughnut. So I took my Boston Cream doughnut and put it in the freezer. Yes, like the best thing I ever done. Because after the big freeze the doughnut was easy to cut. The Boston Cream was just like icing n the middle. It just stood there waiting to be eaten. Mmmm the best way to have it. Frozen. But you better hurry this is the last week. Man I love this place......Bob has a new favorite. It's Key Lime. Very good and filled with delicious key lime flavor. So I just bet into an apple pie doughnut. And it's so undesirable good. Like slap your...

Edited to add more photos and to share about our latest experience where we went for donuts in the afternoon, it was slow after the morning rush and staff let our kids step into the kitchen area (a few steps into the entrance) to see where the donuts are made. The wholesome, friendly and kind vibes here just keep us coming for more. Thanks!

Excellent donuts and overall experience here for our family of 4 with two young boys. We’ve come here twice now and each time was great- this will be a regularly visited by us donut shop.

The donuts are airy, layered and light textured. They resemble croissant texture and are covered with decadent and richly flavored frosting and sometimes filled with cream. All components are excellent and the flavors are fun and unique.

Note these are not your average donuts-these are gourmet, craft donuts and so the price per donut reflects that but I find it’s reasonable.

The coffee is excellent and they serve craft coffee beverages as well.

The atmosphere here is wonderful. A donut shop I actually want to sit down and enjoy. Staff is welcoming, the place is clean, spacious and bright. They have a kid friendly corner with some kids books and tables.

We have been looking for truly unique, craft donuts and this place is it! We are excited to keep coming back and tasting new flavors as they rotate them regularly.
