SPEEDY WOK — Restaurant in Greenville

To begin I order my food around 10:03-10:05 on the phone. The person who took my order didn’t ask for my name or anything and just hung up after receiving my order. I couldn’t even add my drink to my order because he was quick to hang up the line. Next, the order I received was not my order after picking it up. The time is now 10:35 and I call back letting them know they gave me someone else’s order. Alright, they told me they closed at 10:30 but to bring it back. I come back because I paid a lot for my order and I wanted the correct items. Finally, I’m checking out my food the portions they gave me for the beef and broccoli, which were fairly small compare to the bowl/plate itself. As I’m eating I noticed a hair in my food no joke. At first I’m like maybe it’s a piece of plastic or something. I turned on my flash and it is indeed a grayish black hair in my food. My hair is ginger so I know it’s not my hair color. The store is closed and quite frankly I’m beyond disappointed. Perhaps this came from a rush order to make my order correctly. I have no quite idea but this establishment needs to be better managed. Speedy wok should take names and not go by numbers or food specifications. I couldve gotten my food before 10:30, the correct order, brought it back because of the hair. Now I’m stuck disgusted because of the hair in my food and the fact I spent 22.00 on a meal I can’t return. For all the paying customers looking for a good portion/ clean prep Chinese place. I would highly recommend Lambs Garden on 10th street. I settled with this place for distance next time I’ll take the trip across town. Very unhappy experience with front staff showed my Uber eats order, she said not ready 5 more mins I was like okay sat and waited. she came back out said your order is ready then asked to see my app again I was like ah okay even though I just showed you she then proceeded to touch my phone with her greasy fingers an slid the slide to complete on the app that was completely unacceptable. she could of asked me to, our marked it on their own tablet. You do not touch someone phone without permission.

Food is good for the most part had a few bad times. The smell inside is AWFUL like a dirty bathroom gross. The place could use a serious cleaning it just starting to look run down and nasty. Was good when it opened now its meh, china wok down the road is fresh and better now.

Not sure why this place is open. I ordered food the other day and food tasted different or maybe it was the yellow "white sauce". When I took it back to ask about it and see if they can make me another one, assuming maybe it wasn't cooked right or something and me being too nice. The lady from the kitchen came out yelling at me saying I remember you, you ordered it with white rice! Then shouted something about it being cooked. I tried to explain and she just walked away and the cashier seemed uncomfortable and unsure what to say. The cashier then came back and said she is remaking your food. I asked her if the sauce is normally yellow and she said, "yes!" I will never return to this Speedy Wok. Also, its odd that they have a entire dining room that no one sits in. Why is that?
