I just went to this place for the first time and the customer service was just terrible. I walked in and there was no one in the shop. The shop was so cute I immediately thought let me take a video for IG. The bald man with a beard aggressively asked me if I knew what I wanted- never being here before I told him I needed a minute to look around. The menu was missing prices so I wasn't exactly sure what to get. They had items from other shops like candles and jewelry on sale and I was looking around. Within the 3 minutes of being there he rudely asked me 5 TIMES if I was ready and each time I said I was looking. I told him I was waiting for the empty cupcake display to be filled so I can pick out what I wanted. He said "its exactly what's written there" Some names were like hostess - idk what that is off the top of my head. He was SO RUDE and I was extremely uncomfortable. I felt like he wanted me out of the shop so badly, it was such an awful experience - honestly I wanted to leave. However, it's my mothers birthday and I didn't want to leave empty handed. By the end, regardless of wanting to get a bunch of things like cookies, candles, and cannoli's but instead I ended up just getting one cupcake for each flavor offered. The nicest he was to me was as I was leaving saying to be safe out there. Read moreI've heard great things about their product, but unfortunately I never got the chance to try it. Customer service is severely lacking. I had reached out on 4 separate occasions (1 phone call and 3 emails) expressing interest in a custom cake for my daughter's birthday. I had some basic procedural questions such as size, price, flavors, etc. and the responses I got were vague and uninformative. There were also specific questions I had asked (via email) regarding basic customization (mostly just color scheme and theme - nothing crazy at all) that were completely glazed over and ignored. Instead I got, "we don't accept this", "we no longer do that", "we can't do this", "we can't do that". Overall, the tone of the emails were very negative, and it felt like no one from the company was eager to help me. It seems like they have no system in place for prospective customers requesting custom orders. All I wanted to do was order a cake, and after several emails back and forth with conversations that never really led anywhere, I eventually had to ask, "Ok, soooo now what? Can I place the order? Is someone going to walk me through this here?" I had emailed them expressing my disappointment, and no one even responded back to apologize! Needless to say I took my business elsewhere. Truly...
Read moreWe have been buying cupcakes here for many years, including my daughter's birthday cupcakes, always wonderful. Until today. We ordered a variety of flavors of cupcakes for her birthday in a bouquet on a board saying Happy Birthday to her. They spelled her name wrong and we thought changed the icing on all the flavors to make it look like a floral bouquet. Phoned the shop to let them know how disappointed we were. They offered for us to bring them back. My daughter did not want to cause problems, said it was OK and at least the cupcakes would taste like the different varieties they were. Fast forward to her birthday dessert. There were NO different varieties, EVERY SINGLE ONE WAS PLAIN CHOCOLATE! My daughter said we should throw them out, they were that bad. I paid $48 for the lot, including 6 extra cupcakes. Sad that it was only worth $5 tops. What a total waste of money and a ruined birthday dessert for my daughter. I used to recommend this place to everyone. Now will be saying to everyone to go elsewhere-'you will get much better quality at a much cheaper price if you go anywhere else ...
