Arcuri's Pizza & Salad — Restaurant in Greenwich

I have been coming here for decades but I had a bad experience my most recent time and feel like ownership should know - The guy in charge of bringing food outside for pick up deliveries is a tool and should not be in a customer facing role.

When I placed my order I was told to call When I got there and it will be Brought to my car. When I got there I called and the woman told me to come to the door so I did, walking in front of other customers who I assumed still had a while to go on their wait. The rude guy with the buzz cut I referenced above came outside and I told him someone just told Me to come to the door because my order was ready. He’s said “yeah you and everyone else” and walked inside. He then came out four or five more times asking only people he knew by name what their orders were. I called back and spoke to the original woman and she said yeah your order has been ready, I’ll take it out for you myself and apologized.

I know it’s a pandemic and weird times but maybe get someone friendlier and more professional...

I have been coming here for years for the best pizza and sandwiches in town. I got to know Nick very well who works in the front, he is one of the nicest guys you will ever meet and always makes sure every customer is well taken care of. This weekend I finally got to meet the owner, Jamie, really great guy. I was amazed at how much great quality food Arcuri's pumped out for a huge catering event, every staff member friendly as could be. The morning after the event, the owner was nice enough to provide breakfast for myself and the crew I work with. Most of us didn't even know they made breakfast sandwiches. The food was absolutely amazing, the best ham, egg, cheese chili wrap I ever had. I am looking forward to coming in for a breakfast sandwich soon. Thank you Jamie, Nick and the rest of the staff at Arcuri's for providing great food...

Now keep in mind I've ordered here A LOT, and always delivery, and the food always tastes amazing. Their pizza and garlic knots are to die for. Their consistency and customer service though is definitely not. Multiple times I've ordered a Caesar salad with chicken and received no chicken. This latest time though I ordered from them waited about and hour and a half and called up and they said they never received the order even though I paid for it. The person on the phone was extremely rude and honestly felt more like they messed up, they knew they messed up and we're trying to cover it up so they didn't look bad. Look stuff happens, but don't be rude especially in the restaurant business. Definitely lost a customer...I don't...
