Best Bagels!, really nice friendly service. That was my comment three years ago. Today I was in the area and a friend and co-worker was having a birthday so I purchased 2 dozen bagels. One dozen assorted for work, family, and one dozen For Home (along with some other things) Lenny's gives you 6 Free with every Dozen (18 Bagels) for the price of 12. However, when I returned home I only received 12 bagels (no free ones in that dozen). So I called the person who answered the phone and started to do the correct thing. (Take My Name and Info so when I returned again I would receive my 6 Free Bagels I didn't get (sounds good 👍) Until the person who served me said No! I didn't. Charge her so there for No problem Our Policy: 6 Free Bagels with the Purchase of a Dozen Thus I should have received 6 more Bagels 🥯🥯🥯🥯🥯🥯 I saw your problem ( I asked for Cinnamon Raisin & the other fruit flavors) & you ran out ! Instead of sorry We are out of those flavors, what else can I get for you instead? You just left out the free Bagels 🥯🥯🥯🥯🥯🥯 hay I didn't charge you for them!!!! Read moreWaste of time, overcharged and disappointed. This sums up my miserable experience with Lenny’s bagels in Cos Cob. First, they told me the order would be ready by 11:37 AM and it wasn’t ready until 11:57 AM. This wasted 20 minutes of my time that I want back in my life… Next, everything I ordered was one dollar more expensive on the app than in the store. So they are treating me differently as a customer when ordering ahead (especially given Covid) and not just standing in their store ordering like anyone else. Why? I get penalized for being responsible and then paying 12% more than everybody else! BS… when I asked for my refund along with the tip back which amounted to close to $10 They would not give it back to me giving me some lame excuse about how it’s in the credit card in the app in the system… whatever. Finally the burritos were small and lacking ingredients. My son was very disappointed given that he orders them from all of the other restaurants around town. Waste of time, overcharged and disappointed....
Read morePlaced a pick up order at 8am for 3 toasted bagel sandwiches and a tuna melt. Supposed to be ready at 830. When we got there they hadn’t even started the order and we didn’t end up with our food until 9am. What’s the point of ordering ahead when they don’t start it until you get there?
Every person who arrived and ordered while I was waiting for their food in 5 minutes.
When I asked about the order time, the VERY rude guy behind the counter asked me what he wanted me to do about it and told me I shouldn’t have ordered ahead. We also had tipped 10% on a take out order and no apology, nothing for the wait.
Oh and they also made the tuna melt wrong - they gave us untoasted white bread. And none of the bagels were toasted
