EVERY REPLY THAT SWEETGREEN POSTS STATES FOR US TO EMAIL THEM...WHY? AND WHY DON'T THEY RESPOND TO THIS SAME PLATFORM THAT WE WROTE OUR REVIEW ON?
I arrived at Sweetgreen in Greenwich at about 8:00pm this evening. I immediately ask them if they were the same Sweetgreen as the ones in NYC’s upper west side and they said yes! Shocking because their salads are NOTHING like they are in NYC, nor are the portions or the baked tofu (which was awful!) or anything else. It was a low grade salad serviced by an unfriendly girl who lacked manners and the cost for this salad was $15.51 inclusive of tax. *AND WHY IS IT THAT THE MANAGERS replying to the reviews TELL ALL to email them?? Why don’t they respond on the same platform that the review was written on? PLUS, it’s awfully presumptuous of them to ask more of the customer, more then the unsatisfying meal experience and more than the review the customer left by yet another step to email them. Read moreThere are employees who work very hard at sweetgreen in Greenwich who are dedicated and work diligently and then there is the employee I had the very unfortunate displeasure of being served by today. At 436 instead of serving me promptly I had to wait for Andrew to stop talking like a chatty Kathy with his coworker Evelyn in the back room away from the cash register finally he came around to the register and put his gloves back on to do his actual job when I kindly told him I was in a hurry he raised his voice at me yelling at me to calm down in a nasty loud abrasive tone This isn’t the first time tho Andrew has done this on 5/20 at 458 pm Andrew refused to give me my change when I paid in cash until I asked for the manager then he claimed he discovered rolls of change in the cash register Andrew is without a doubt the worst employee at sweet green he needs to be retrained he suffers from an unbridled grotesque sense of...
Read moreI come here every weekend with my family. I came in tonight for two simple salads at 7pm an hour before closing. I was super nice and asked politely for my order. Both females working were rude, seemed frustrated and in a rush. I asked for two cups of ice which I have never had an issue getting before and I get all the time. I wouldn’t even have an issue paying for it if that’s the policy. I was rudely told that I would not be able to get the cups of ice without purchasing a drink (again, I was okay with paying for it but I wasn’t even given the option until I spoke up). Cashier rudely walked off and the other rudely told me I was all set, basically dismissing me. Now, I’m a black woman who had her small daughter with her and was treated nasty while a Caucasian couple was treated with all the respect in the world. Will definitely be spending my money elsewhere. I hope this franchise spends time better training...
