it’s honestly not easy for me to leave a bad review but there are some significant flags.

I’ll start with the pros- vibrant, bustling restaraunt with a large menu and many options. Really great take-away section and option for seating. Good smoothie selection and great smoothie texture.

Flags- service was bad. Communicated an allergy of dairy and soy to the server and was assured that my order of the Power bowl was a dairy and soy free option. The server even went to check with the manager. The bowl arrived and I asked a nearby server to confirm what was in the dressing - vegetable oil which is a sneaky one but does contain soy. No big deal, she offered to replace it with a dressing that was allergen free- great. I dig into the bowl and then notice the sauce on the mushrooms- because of the dressing I ask the same woman to confirm the ingredients - there is literal soy listed in the ingredients she checks. Very disappointing that our server didn’t check for this. I order something else with her as she seems to know the menu well (and was kind enough to double check for me). I order the salmon wrap without the balsamic jam and green goddess dressing which have soy. A sauce still comes with it (and because it’s dropped off by a food runner I wait to confirm with the server that it’s okay) nope it’s the dressing with the soy in it. Also, everyone I’m with has finished eating because of having to order something new. They eventually let me know that the original bowl which was sent back will be taken off the bill- of course it should have been, it was sent back. My whole meal should have been taken off the bill at the VERY least. The server should have come and apologized, the manager should have come and apologized and the meal honestly should have been comped. Very dissapointing, especially when there was an available list of ingredients. Melissa the server who saved me from the allergens knows the menu well and is the only saving grace of...

From the get go our experience was less than stellar, we were rudely greeted by the "barista" telling us the counter/bar area was not self service when sitting down for breakfast. Three additional groups sat themselves in the time we were there and not a word was said to any of them. Why was my party met with an attitude regarding seating ourselves? It then took nearly 15 minutes to even take our coffee order. Our waitress from there-on-out was nice, but was obviously overwhelmed and in the weeds the whole time we were there.

Getting past the lacking service, the iced coffee wasn't good at all and the very-berry smoothie was anything but, it tasted like plain cheap liquid yogurt and unripe bananas. The only reason this place even gets a 2-star is because the Hesisenberg breakfast sandwich was very good but for $10 was roughly 6 total bites and was way too small. Also, it was supposed to come on a wrap but was served on toast without any explanation.

For $50 for breakfast between my wife and I, I'll be skipping out on any future visit, save your money and go somewhere that'll appreciates your business and has food that's actually...

I WOULD LIKE TO GIVE ZERO STARS BUT IT WON'T ALLOW ME TO DO SO... WOW! The Granola Bar continues to disappoint in every way. The only reason we reordered is because after the last botched order of about $40.00 (inedible food) the General Manager offered us a gift card. Today we gave it another chance and the food is REMARKABLY worse than last time. The order was $49.98 and 3 items ordered were not in the bag. The avocado toast is one slice of un-toasted bread cut into 4 pieces with a smear of avocado. Another order of Bacon, eggs and cheese with toast came as follows... Egg, no cheese, bread not toasted, 3 pieces of under cooked bacon and they cut the bread with a knife that had avocado on it. This is for someone with a serious avocado allergy. This place is honestly HORRIBLE. I will let the $10.00 Avocado Grilled cheese...

The Granola Bar is a great lunch/breakfast spot! They have a wide variety of food, and are sensitive to allergens & special diet requests. We got the sweet potato pancakes and huevos rancheros with a side of eggs. It’s great having a place so delicious right on the Ave! They also have a to go area if you just want to grab something to take home. My only complaint is that the chairs are very loud when being pushed against the concrete floor.
