Bruster's Real Ice Cream — Restaurant in Greenwood

For the second time, we came to Bruster's for a special advertised ON YOUR FACEBOOK page. And for the second time, the store knew nothing about it and hassled us. Since I learned from last time we had to have a long discussion and get a lecture from the owner, I had my phone with the GREENWOOD Bruster's Facebook page to show them. The manager had to call the owner. They did honor it, but WHY don't you know what you offer as specials?!?! And you charged for the pup cup because our dog wasn't in the car with us. Why? Because we are going to get a free quarter cup of whipped cream and a dog biscuit?

I rarely post negative reviews, but I am doing so this time. As a business owner, put in the effort to check and know what you are advertising. Don't let your customers be aggravated.

We are done coming to this Bruster's. I hate that because I've been going to Bruster's in all the places I've lived for over a decade. But, I am not going to support a place that is happy to offer such terrible customer service.

Oh, and the special was Teacher Appreciation for 1/2 off 1 item (is that $4 for you?). Thanks for making me...

We have been to other locations and had great service and experiences, but this one was awful all around. The Banana split was basically a banana with all the toppings and a tower of whipped cream. There was such little ice cream we couldn’t even scoop a full spoonful of any of the 3 flavors. They said they weigh their ice cream so I’m not sure if because we got flavors with chunks of cookies and chocolate in it, it lessened the amount but they should take that into account because a banana split with virtually no ice cream is not enjoyable at all. I need the ice cream to cover up the fact I’m eating a banana lol Not hot fudge covered banana with pecans 🤢 It’s too cloyingly sweet, and when we said something they called and remade it but it was just as bad the next time so definitely would never go back to this location again. I don’t need an obscene amount of ice cream but when you pay almost 10$ for a banana split and don’t even get to eat the banana and toppings with ice cream, it’s kind...

First off the workers are excellent and very nice. We have been going to Bruster’s in Greenwood , SC hoping things would get better.with the portions I purposely went to Bruster’s in Greenville to see if there would be the same issue and both Bruster’s in Greenville are perfect!! My 32 large milkshakes in Greenwood are missing about 2 to 3 inches of shake. This only happens at this location for some reason as I have photos to prove it. I am being charged for 32 ozs, but I am not receiving anything close to that. The cup is so short that looks like it has been poured out! The 2 photos (with lids off) missing the product are from the Greenwood SC location and the 2 with the lids on and proper amount are from 2 different locations in Greenville SC. Hopefully someone addresses this issue as this is bad business and should never be forced upon loyal customers.Numerous co workers are refusing to ever return as they have faced...
