Chicago's Pizza Greenwood — Restaurant in Greenwood

We ask for side salad and got a dinner salad w no cheese , carrots, no egg etc . All that’s on it was raw Broccoli and cucumber on a 1/4 head of lettuce in a small serving coffee dish . Yeah this place is really known for great salads during the Buffet I respect the fact that the Covid stop the Buffet . So I remove the broccoli and the three slices of Roma tomatoes asked for at least some cheese and the lady just kept saying well it’s $.40 extra and like I don’t really care if it’s 46 after I want cheese with my lettuce and she still again said it’s $.40 extra I said again I don’t care I’d like to have cheese with my salad. I said I thought we ordered a side salad with your pizza she said well the dinner salad .......I said I thought I ordered a side salad with the pizza she said again well the dinner salad comes with that I said again I would like to have cheese with my salad I wasn’t asking for anything free. The pizza as always is excellent but I think a little girl that helped us need some more training on customer service specially since these times are tough to get anyone in your restaurant. And again I stress I was not asking for anything free I was willing to pay for a side order of dressing or a side order of egg or a side order of something just to put on the salad instead of a hunk of lettuce other than a hunk of lettuce . This was June 23 At around noon. She was very slow at service coming back and checking on a table there were three couples in the whole store so she was not Being pushed for time. I love this lunch buffet, and have been to this location many times. However today's experience was not so pleasant. We arrived at 1250pm for the buffet. I got to have some of my 2 favorites, the chicken ranch and vege pizzas, but they we not fresh at all, and there we only 2 slices of each left (i didnt take all of either). They did not make ANY fresh pizzas after 1pm, besides dessert pizza. I know that the buffet ends at 130pm, but to not make any fresh pizza after 1pm does not seem okay. I am not leaving hungry, but not satisfied either. Also, I felt bad for the people who came in after us because they just had to settle for what was left. No veggie options, and no fresh pizza. Maybe they should tell people that at the register and give them a discount as well. Because you should have the same experience whether you come in at 11am, or 125pm. I work in the industry. We close at 10pm, and we serve hot, fresh...

My husband and I recently had our first time visit. Following the buffet closure around 2:00 or so, we had never eaten there before. As we walked in the front door some of the staff were more interested in the man dancing near 31 in the grass, than greeting us! I went up to the counter (to ask if we ordered there) and they said to have a seat and someone would be with us. Seven to ten minutes later no one acknowledged us. I went and asked one of the girls if we could get a menu. She said, "Oh, someone will be right with you". This after she'd delivered water and menus to a family who came in before us. We sat again for another ten minutes, then left out the side door. Perhaps I should've asked for a manager. We might try a visit again down the road.
