Place on the down swing. We go there pretty often. Most times, we go the directors (general managers) are just sitting at the tables behind us. We hear them just talking and saying nothing that really matters. I know the director was saying something about the Executive Director asking him if he would be the operator of the southport location because they haven't had a director there for a good amount of time. He said no, thank you, and that there is too much going on at that location. She should probably make him go. He is sitting around a little too comfortable at this location. Why would he? Zero directing of the staff. The other employees are usually only worried about getting to break time, and it shows in the cleanliness of this particular location. As a matter of fact, I took a few pictures to post. This place is supposed to be a higher standard of a place to eat. The floors were really dirty. The breezeway was really nasty. Looks like they skip sweeping well and just quick mop with cold, dirty water flipping crap in the corners and baseboards. I said something to one of the directors (managers), and he got up and half butt mopped up some, but it didn't look any cleaner. The dividers had crap all built up on the ledges, and the divider windows all smudged up with fingerprints. Flies landing on our food. Maggots nearby? Smh. As I was leaving, I watched the director walk past a parking lot full of trash and get into his gold Honda Accord. Some looked weeks old, all smashed into nothing. I went on the website, and it only gave me 1500 characters and couldn't post any pictures, so I figured I could get more across here. Didn't want to be obvious, so I only got a few pictures, but if I was to really walk around and look, I'm sure I could have a lot more. I know what the standard should be here. Get it together or just like everyone else. Im for hire if you are hiring vendors. Let me know how to get in. Sorry for the bad news, but somebody...
Read morePoor ability to set proper expectations for the mobile app drive through. I work down the road from this Chick-Fil-A and have used the mobile app a couple of times. Today, I was caught by surprise and completely inconvenienced when the scan code registered an "error" to my order. I was informed in the error to speak with a team member about my order. This led me to wait in line in order to speak with someone who, before I could even explain, asked "did you order breakfast?" Yes, I did order breakfast. I ordered breakfast before 10:30am and was prompted to make my way to the restaurant and pick up my food. I even registered the color and make of my vehicle that is associated with the order. I arrived and scanned the code between 10:33am-10:35 am. The team member proceeded to then explain that if you scan the code even a minute after 10:30am, you will not receive your order. She then advised me to wait in line to speak with the team members near the doors who handle the orders. Another line to wait in. At this point it is 10:43am, I am left with the same explanation from a different team member, whose name was Titus. I wanted to allow Titus the opportunity to help assist in the situation due to the inability to set proper expectations within the Chick-Fil-A mobile pick up app. There was no possibility of receiving the order that was placed, prompted for pick up and registered to my credit card account.
I would highly encourage Chick-Fil-A to set proper expectations when operating the use of a more "convenient" way...
Read moreI visit Chick-fil-A fairly regularly because their service is generally superb with hot, fresh food. Today, however, Chick-fil-A FAILED!
I ordered a Chick-fil-A deluxe meal with Colby Jack and Bacon. Fries came out molten 🔥, fantastic. The sandwich, however, felt like it just came out of the refrigerator. The bun was cold to the touch, no warmth at all. The cheese had not softened at all, and the bacon, let me tell you about the bacon. The fat had CONGEALED! The chicken itself had barely any warmth, not surprising considering how cold everything else was.
I took it back to the counter, explained the problem, and asked for a replacement. The replacement was bought out and wouldn't you know it, same problem. In fact, it looked like the same dang sandwich. This time, I asked for a manager. I explained the problem and even suggested she feel the bun because I felt like they thought I was making this up. I think she was offended I suggested this. Though I am offended, you served me ice-cold food TWICE!
This time when she bought out the food, the manager made a point to tell me that she watched them toast the buns. Add to that a customer in line decided to make rather snarky remarks pertaining to me complaining about the cold food. I will NOT be visiting this...
